Open or Closed. I have not had the pleasure of drooling over a dog from Dave’s. I was in Destin in June 2011 and just returned from there again March 2012. We have looked high and low, in the Harbour Walk and Destin Commons. Everyone seems to be able to tell you where they think Dave’s is, but it is still hiding, or is it closed? Signed, Drooling for a Dog!
Worth it. I actually said we should just go back to Destin again this year because I had to have another Dave’s Dog that I was introduced to last year. Best Hot Dog in the world!!
Dave’s Dogs is open, but will be moving to the Harbor Docks area in March. I had one of there hot dogs for the first time, and it was delicious! Great toasted bun! Maybe a little overpriced for a hot dog though, but it’s probably because of the area its in.
It is OPEN!!!! A must have!. My wife & I were there on our honeymoon in August & it was the best hotdog we’d ever had! The bun was amazing & the hotdog had snap & an excellent flavor…can’t wait to go back! We met Dave & he was very nice & will hopefully be back to visit soon! 😉 FYI – Dave said more Dave’s Dogs locations to come!
Dave’s Dogs in the Destin Commons!. Mr. Dave is the one of the friendliest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I met him two years ago when I had my first Dave’s Dog and he was there working and served it to me! How cool is that when the owner actually works and talks to the customers. These dogs are the best I have ever had. When you get one go all the way and get the works on yours. Drooling just thinking about dave’s dogs. I think its cash only too FYI.
*Not* Closed. Dave’s is very open and very good. They may have more than one location, but we usually go to the one in the courtyard of the Destin Commons (in front of the Rave). If you haven’t had a Dave’s Dog and a movie, you are doing yourself a dis-service!
