High tide is the best. That’s it. You don’t need to know anymore. Go and get a blackened trigger fish sandwich w/ fries along with a dozen raw oysters. It’s one of the best meals in the state.
Classic old school seafood place.Lots of fried options if thats your thing and fresh shucked to order oysters. The best in the area! Everything comes with the classic sides, cole slaw, baked potato and veggies. And if there’s a land lover in your group they make a decent burger and offer a steak. I prefer the oysters and steamed shrimp. They have beer, wine and a full bar where locals normally sit, chat and eat. It’s dark, cool and quiet and a nice break from the tourist traps on the beach.
Scallops. I got grilled scallops and loved the smokey flavor. Friendly staff <3
Mystery Fish. I have been coming here for years. Recently however, the fish served is something of a mystery. Like the fake scallops, the grouper is also NOT grouper. I’m really not sure where they get their seafood but it is definitely not local. Stick with Harbor Docks for fresh local seafood!! Avoid this place and enjoy your meal elsewhere!
RAW OYSTERS. The best place to eat raw oyster.. Great environment too, friendly staff.
Great food. After several years of visiting Okaloosa we finally got to try this place. I wish I would have tried it sooner. We got the oysters casino for an appetizer and it was delicious. The restaurant has been there for 40 years and im told it is a local favorite. I can see why. The prices are the most reasonable I’ve seen so far. If someone complains about these prices then they should probably keep driving until they get the Captain D’s about a mile down the road and get some popcorn shrimp and fried cod. I got a fried soft shell crab sandwich, and my wife got a fried oyster sandwich. We both agreed that the food was delicious and cant wait to go back. Compared to the regular Destin and Ft. Walton tourist traps the prices are cheaper and the food was better.
