Not the best dining experience. Upon arriving for lunch, there was nobody at the hostess stand. Had to wait a couple minutes for someone to arrive. Once seated started enjoying the atmosphere. Waitress delivered appetizer in a timely manner, then an employee in a black shirt comes into the dining area with a couple raw steaks in a clear plastic trash bag over his shoulder and has a 5 minute conversation with someone in the dining area, and then left out the front door. Had the rib eye, it was cooked as I ordered it, an the meal was great. I would come back here for the food, but the staff needs a little more professionalism training.
Forgot my daughter’s steak order. We decided to go for lunch because my daughter really wanted to eat steak on vacation. After bringing out all the food they realized they forgot to put in her order. She ended up filling up on bread and baked potatoes while waiting for her food and only ate part of her steak. They also swapped two other steaks that were ordered. The food tasted OK. I don’t recommend the grilled watermelon salad. I was hoping they would have comped the late steak, but they didn’t. I will try another steak restaurant next time we are in Destin.
I had the Napa Chicken, and my boyfriend had Flo’s Filet. The steak was average, the chicken was great, complain. The service was good, very friendly, but slow. There were short on staff.
Service was good but the steak was overcooked and then when I got a new one it still wasn’t right and the fried egg was overcooked as well as the vegetables.
Excellent steak. The service wasn’t great, we had a sarcastic waitress but the steak definitely made up for her.
Disaster. Must have been fishing in bad water to get shrimp that bad. Both the chicken and fish died of salt poisoning. Burnt baked potato. Worst waste of $40 ever.Stay away in droves.The server was telling stories of killing and bleeding out a cow just behind us. Grossed us out.
We had the Tbone, filet, loaded baked potato, Mac and cheese, salad, French onion and broccoli cheese soups. The steaks were cooked perfectly, juicy and tender and perfectly seasoned. The staff was super friendly and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. I was really surprised ate how great the food was and how much less the bill was than I thought. I was thinking I would drop at least $100, but it was actually closer to half of that! Highly recommended!
