More of a lunch diner I would say. I wasn’t impressed their pizza. However their sandwiches were very delicious and would recommend you giving the ruben or Philly steak a shot.

Slick Mick’s started out being a Spot On participant but later decided to back out. For the past three months they have made excuses saying that their check in unit was broken and they were waiting for Spot On to repair or replace it. I was becoming frustrated by losing so many points from my frequent visits to Slick Mick’s. Finally, I called Spot On to see if there was any way I could get credit for my visits. Turns out that Slick Mick’s has been lying to their customers because they cancelled their account with Spot On.To make matters worse, Slick Mick’s wouldn’t even honor the points I had accumulated with a free appetizer! I mean, really, would it have hurt them that much to keep a satisfied customer?

Watched a Steeler game there with a lot of other Steeler fans. The deep discount (dud to wearing a Steeler shirt) made this place very affordable, otherwise it’s just another bar/pub. The Philly cheese steak was very good as were the fries and homemade chips. The Fat Tire from the pitcher tasted a little stale though.

Great Food, Great Service. I have begun patronizing Slick Micks on a regular basis for the past few months. I have always enjoyed their Reuben w/ those wonderful chips and I now rotate through a variety of sandwiches each visit. ALL of the employees are cheerful and efficient (especially the beautiful Brittney). I saw a review that criticized the staff for not being knowledgeable on the menu / poor take-out service / etc. but from what I have personally witnessed this is far from the truth.

DELICIOUS. I’ve been going to Slick Mick’s for about four years now. My husband went out of town for a week while I was pregnant, and I ordered food to go from Slick Mick’s about four times. I grew up near Pittsburgh, so it feels a little like home. The Italian hoagie is my favorite, but I’ve tried almost everything on the menu at this point and have never been disappointed. I will say, though, that we have had poor service there several times, especially when we order take out. First, the person answering the phone is rarely trained on the menu. When you go in, it is made clear that as someone not eating in, you are not a priority. Even if the food isn’t ready, someone should check on you occasionally, maybe even offer water while you wait (for about 15 minutes past when the food was promised). The service hasn’t been much better when we eat in (although it’s unfair to make that a blanket statement. Some servers are great.). I will continue to be a loyal customer, but I believe the staff needs more training and preparation. The thing I hate about chain restaurants is the generic food. I would much rather go someplace local like Slick Mick’s, but the fact that places like Olive Garden and Outback usually have great service is no accident. They usually have great training programs, and every employee must memorize the entire menu before starting his or her first day.

Great pizza and wings. The wing sauce is more sweet than hot but delicious. The buffalo chicken pizza was awesome. We also had a 4 meat pizza which was great. The pizza was exactly what you would expect from a brick oven pizza joint.

They put butter on bread for sandwhiches. Would have liked to have known that beforehand. My son didn’t like the cheese pizza or the fries that came with my meal. My husband didn’t care for his either. We were unimpressed for taste and cost of it. The place was freezing. My husband asked about that and they said it was because we were near the window (where they sat us)
