Ate here today for the first time, food was excellent and the portions were generous. However, my friend ordered teriyaki chicken and it took over 30 minutes to make, server did not course the meals together so my friend watched me eat and I watched my friend, not what we hoped for. The place was packed full of patrons and the establishment was only being cooled by ceiling fans, 93 day and it must of been 82 in the restaurant with the back door of the kitchen open. I’d love to go back, but it won’t be till fall or winter. The decision to save a few bucks on electricity will certainly run off more business than what it is worth.
Decent Thai. This place is near our house so we’ve visited several times. Its just ok Thai food. Service has always been pleasant and the place is clean.

I am Thai. I have tried ALL the Thai restaurants in the area, and this by far comes close to momma’s cookin! Very authentic REAL Thai. Never a let down! We’re there once a week! 🙂

Great Thai Food. I love Thai Chef, their Phad Thai is some of the best in the area and their Tom Kha Gai is delicious. Their Red Curry isn’t as flavorful as another local Thai places but their Phad Thai and Tom Kha Gai really shine.Don’t eat the mints, they taste like death.If you want good Phad Thai in a nice, friendly and clean atmosphere go to Thai Chef, the lunch specials are also a great deal.When I wan Red Curry I go to Gus’s, when I want Phad Thai and Tom Kha Gai I go to Thai Chef.
I’ve dined here numerous times for lunch and dinner and BY FAR this is the best Thai on the Gulf Coast. I’ve enjoyed Makong Thai, Lotus Thai, and both Orchid Houses, but Thai Chef has the best Green Curry Chicken! YUMMY! The mango over sticky rice as well as the coconut ice cream over sticky rice just melts in you’re mouth. Heck, I’m headed there tonite! Lol! Enjoy!
