Great spot for lunch in Tampa !. Flamestone is a great spot for a casual lunch! I thoroughly enjoy their legendary table side guac that never disappoints…and the flamestone burger is always perfectly cooked and seasoned with amazing flavor! The atmosphere is cool with a friendly vibe coming from the staff and hostesses. I enjoyed flamestone and will be back for more!
Great place for nice dinner.. Flamestone has been our go-to place for special occasions, or when we just wanted a nice dinner out. However, during our visit New Years Eve the service and food were not up to the standards wed come to expect, and we left feeling very disappointed. As a result of an email comment to the restaurant, we were personally contacted by Nick Pappas, the owner, who encouraged us to give it another try, and assured us that our next visit would be what wed come to expect over the years. We took him up on his offer and returned Valentines Day. The service and food well exceeded our expectations. The lobster bisque, prime rib and the sea bass were delicious, as was the red velvet donut bread pudding. The manager, Samuel, whod also contacted us by email, as well as our server, Dylon, went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. And it was. Flamestone doesnt need our business, but its nice to know the owner and manager sincerely care about all their customers. We highly recommend Flamestone.
Casual, American Elegance with Superb Service. My partner and I took in an early dinner on a lazy Saturday afternoon. We were seated promptly and were greeted by our server whose name is Kevin. Folks, you won’t be sorry if you ask to be seated in Kevin’s section. He’s been with the restaurant for the last five years and knows the menu so well, that’s he’s happy to provide recommendations and proudly list his personal favorites.The signature appetizer is the freshly made Guacamole, prepared table side. My partner ordered the Chicken Flamestone a savory, fire-grilled breast with sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, artichokes, feta, white wine lemon sauce and redskin double butter mashed potatoes. I chose the gourmet mac n’ cheese served in a piping hot cast iron skillet and the flash fried shrimp.We’ll be back!
One of the best in Oldsmar. I’ve been to Flamestone probably 5 or 6 times since moving to the Oldsmar area. In my opinion this is some of the best food available anywhere in the Oldsmar/Westchase area.Every single thing I’ve ordered off the menu has been perfect. The drink selection is also quite good.Flamestone gets a little pricey but if you’re looking for premium dining, you have to start here.
What a great experience!. Whether a quick knosh on my way to a show or a meal with friends, this place never fails. I love the tableside guacamole, the scallops and shrimp are so good, I forget to try something new! The patio has provided space for some great networking events as well. Always, the staff is gracious. Love this place!
We left. Bartender rude felt unwelcome when asked questions about food he said he made drinks not food. We had 2 drinks and left. I don’t understand all the good reviews. We have been off and on occasionally and now we will not be back
