We were visiting Tampa and looking for good sushi. We just stumbled upon Hot Tuna and thank goodness we did. It was really excellent. Great atmosphere, great service and excellent sushi. We ordered the Volcano (Yum), Caterpillar (Mmmm), the Godzilla (spicy and good) and the crazy (sooo good). Highly recommended!!!!!
Update 5/26/I6—-must add Gator Roll to my favorite rolls list. I had it today for their classic combo lunch special and it was awesome! —-I often crave HOT TUNA! This is my #1 sushi go to spot. I wish we had a Hot Tuna closer to us. The Ginger Salad is AMAZING! I crave that salad more than anything they offer – but I think the best rolls are: Volcano Roll, Paper Crane Roll, Spider Roll and for carb watchers – the Mumbo Jumbo Roll. My husband doesn’t typically like sushi but he loves this place!
