Perfectly cooked fish is always a good thing. The service is relaxed and may appear to be slow but when the fish appears perfectly cooked and still hot, I can forgive because I would rather wait a little while for my food to be well prepared vs simply fast. So relax and enjoy a drink and an appetizer.

Nice brew13 Aug, 2014This has become one of our local go to spots now. Based on the closeness, vibe, nice bar, drink selection and decent menu to go with a good happy hour. We choose it over Rumba every time and drive right past City Fish, who I gave three chances. Had four apps and four drinks for just under $40 and only one dish so far has really not delivered for us. I think we are at about 7 or 8 trips. Left for Salt Rock or right for Kona Grill…..decisions, decisions.13 Aug, 2014Buffalo Chicken Dip. We did not like this one, especially based on the description. One of the few misses here.
Less than impressed. We reserved a table for a Saturday night family birthday dinner, with four adults and two kids. Our server was friendly but inattentive. She seemed to be in a rush, however it was not crowded. We sampled the french onion soup dumplings that everyone loved. The kale salad was a delightful combination of flavors, the wedge salad was pretty standard. Two of us had the fresh grouper that was perfectly cooked but could have used more seasoning for a blackened dish. My biggest disappointment was the grits, a solid gelatinous mass of herb infused grits with no hint of the smoked gouda cheese that was promised. My husband tried the diver’s scallops, tender and tasty but the risotto lacked flavor as well. The tenderloin kabobs were good but the overall experience was not up to the standard we were expecting. We left less than satisfied with the meal. Sorry, but not worth the 30 minute drive.
TASTY FOOD, GREAT HAPPY HOUR, and GREAT MANAGEMENT!. Went for a light/early dinner…they had 3 large groups (the red hat hags)…so we were seated, and waited a little longer than we cared to…so I had to grab a waiter’s attention. I ended up with two waiters after that and they were both very apologetic and I understood why…not a problem…yet. So the manager came over and apologized as well and he promised us food perfection…well…he delivered! Food and Service were perfect after that and… he bought our dessert to boot! That’s all I really ever want from a restaurant….good food and good CUSTOMER service – that’s what they delivered here…good job guys!
2/26/14 wed. afternoon. Went there and liked everything! My favorite oldie-music-songs. Waitress was wonderful. Food didn’t take long and was some of the best Restaurantfood I have had in a long time. Also different, interesting dishes that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Delicious!!! Airy. open, clean place. Atmosphere good. The TV’s at each table are a really nice touch.Prices are not bad. If they keep the quality of the food, they will have no problem with longevity.
Amazing atmosphere. Love this place. I didn’t expect any less from baystar group. Truffle fries and kale salad were so delicious. Their craft cocktails are wonderful. I had the barrel aged Hendricks. Needless to say I will be back very soon!
Love Love Love. My husband and I had our first visit here last night and we absolutely loved it. Our server, Maha, was absolutely fabulous. All of her recommendations were spot on. The pineapple martini was great. We ordered the French onion dumplings on Maha’s suggestion and they were so good! The flatbread we ordered was great, the rock n’ roll shrimp is the only thing I probably wouldn’t order again. They were just a little spicy and the coating was kind of soggy. We had the Mounds Jar for dessert and just had a great night. Will definitely return for another date night soon.
