Great Food Bad Service. I am a visitor from Georgia I come to Florida often I love Sonny’s an I have never had bad service. We were seated at a nice booth.It was a few minutes a server came to take our order. He was pleasant at first but then he would only ask my friend what he wanted, asked him if we needed another drink, did he need another order, did he need anything else. This server did not care WHAT I NEEDED OR WANTED. He was rude and did not ask me anything, he only was polite to my friend..I have never had an unfriendly server at Sonny’s they always smile and give great service, this was a bad way to treat a return customer. Thank you for your time.
The pulled pork was nothing more then lots of fat and a little pork. I ordered 1lb and if I was lucky I had a half a lb of meat. The rest of it was pure fat. When you eat inside you get a good meal. But take out they rip you off. I will not be back. I gave them 3 chances and they just do not care.
Angela behind the bar always gives us service with a smile. I can’t wait to go back.
Visiting family who insisted on Sonny’s for dinner. Had the all-u-can-eat baby back ribs, baked sweet potato, green beans and cornbread w sweet tea. Best ribs I’ve ever had. Slide off the bone and melt in your mouth. 4 racks later and I recommend.
Until today I hadn’t eaten at Sonny’s since I was a little kid. I love good BBQ and am a little picky about the BBQ I eat. That being said I will definately return. Far from the best but still good.
Not so good. Wished they never changed the old place at least had descent food now horrible wont go back
Sonny’s is a must stop if you’re looking for great BBQ at a reasonable price point. Their pork big deal is a great lunch time value. Last night I stopped by the Palm Harbor and had their $11.99 rib. Special. It was fantastic. The only negative is I wish you could have gotten the baby backs for a few dollars more.
