I have to agree with the other reviews. The service was very good, but the food was disappointing. Salad was large pieces of almost white iceberg lettuce. The spicy tuna roll was not even a little spicy. The rolls were loosely wrapped and the rice was too loose.
Medicore. I decided to try Shiso Sushi since it was so close to my parents house. While the prices were decent, it was one of the WORST sushi experiences I’ve had in my life. There was way too much rice on the sushi that you couldn’t even taste the rest of the ingredients. I also got one of their speciality rolls thinking if I paid more it would be better…uh no; it was just as bad.
Satisfying. Good atmosphere and good service as well. Have been a couple of times. Sushi is sometimes a bit bland, but you know for the prices and the amount served, there’s really no issue.
Meh…. The prices are good, but the seaweed in the sushi was thick and rubbery. I give it a B- I’ve had better. The atmosphere is nice, but I found the food just ok.
I ate here tonight for the fist time, and it will be my last. The sushi was bland with an overall disappointing taste. The seaweed salad was the worst that I have ever eaten.
Mediocre @ best. Seaweed salad was 75% iceberg lettuce, and the cherry on top was bizarre. The sushi was bland.
Shiso sushi used to be my favorite Orlando sushi place. However, on March 1st they changes ownership and the two times since my wife and I have been, we have been terribly disappointed. We will not be going back.
