Their sandwiches are delicious! Do not miss the pesto chicken sandwich! It’s a hot sandwich with sliced chicken and an amazing pesto sauce. The pesto was the star of the show here and is complimented perfectly with the orzo salad. We also tried the roast beef and rocket which was very well done and accentuated by their sauce, but given the choice I’d take the pesto chicken again.
Yes please!. I took a friend to East End Market for the first time this weekend. While we were there we decided we needed a snack to hold us over until our late dinner reservation. After a trip around the market we decided on the special of the day from Houndstooth – turkey, bacon, pepperjack cheese and white BBQ sauce on a pretzel roll. We got the sandwich hot along with an Original Sin Pear Cider from Local Roots and went outside to enjoy our snack. It was heavenly! We split the sandwich and the cider and it was the perfect amount. The sandwich was delicious and so was the cider!The sandwich was a little on the pricey side, but I expect that when I’m at East End Market so I wasn’t really surprised. But now that I’ve had one of their sandwiches I will definitely be back!
