We loved Riptides! Live music, awesome crab, also had steak kabobs. Michael, our waiter, was great! Family atmosphere, great value! They also have a game room with a pool table. The bar is huge and the service is quick. Sit inside or out. North of the Oceanwalk about a mile.
I ordered the lobster bites appetizer. Not sure what it’s made of but I know it’s not lobster. The seafood I ordered was really undercooked and didn’t have much flavor. Pretty disappointing.
Love Riptides. Shrimp is excellent and the onion rings are the best I have ever had! I live in Ormond Beach so am often temped to eat at this restaurant!
Dissapointed. I live in the area and this is the 3rd time I have been to Riptides. The 1st was just so so, but decided everyone needs a second chance. On the 2nd visit, we had a great experience. We had all you can eat crab legs and they were delicious, we had great service. Great time. On our 3rd visit – disappointment. Again my boyfriend had the all you can eat crab legs and they were not good. The first plate was just so-so, 2nd plate was very good and the 3rd plate were horrible, old, over cooked, watery. Just not good. I had a steak salad with big chunks of meat and was given a butter knife to cut it with. Our server Brittney, was a best a 5 out of 10. She didn’t listen and was in such a hurry we had to stop her 2 times to complete our questions. The iced tea was not good either. I don’t think we will be back.
The service was amazing. The food was pretty great too. Ask for Jordan, he was awesome.

First time here, awesome atmosphere, even BETTER all you can eat CRAB LEGS!!! Worth every penny of the $37 🙂 Our server Melanie was smiling and more than accommodating. Once again, crab legs were to die for!!! A must eat place in Daytona!!
