Disappointing Valentine Dinner. 4 of us reserved a table for Valentines Day. What a disappointment. We had eaten here before and the service and food was excellent. On this night the disorganization was evident by all of us.We waited quite awhile to be waited on and even then it was not a waiter but most likely the owner. We ordered wine and waited a good 15 mins for the bottle to arrive. After this we were ignored until finally the owner relized we were still waiting and came and took our order. Our pasta and the lemon veal arrived. The pasta was good but very little (at $32 a plate). The veal was very thin and too lemony to the point where the lemon overpowered all the flavour. At this point the owner came by and said, you want some bread. So. 4 people $200 bill and the worst service we have ever experienced in any restaurant we shall not return.

Valentines Dinner. Toscana’s has a lovely atmosphere and the food was fabulous, but really need to improve on the service!! The bartender had to bring us our drinks himself because the waiter never came over to greet us. Also, the owners little girl waited on us a couple times and found that very unprofessional (although very sweet). Not to mention she was aloud to practice with the torch at our table for the Crme brulee dessert. Very dangerous!! Our waiter only came by twice through the entire 2 hours we were their. Other people were waiting on us. A restaurant that charges that much for a meal should be more professional and be A LOT more attentive to your customers. Felt bad that my boyfriend that he paid highly for our meal and the service was terrible and unprofessional!! Most likely won’t be back and not recommend to friends. Shocked you’ve been their for 3 years. Thought restaurant was just opened recently due to lack of organization.

Absolutely Fantastic!!. Finally, an authentic Italian restaurant with in the area with all key elements covered. Toscana has the ambiance, incredible food, and professional, genuine staff. Jeffrey the captain is top notch and Laura at the bar is wonderful! Chef Tony is incredibly talented, we are in love!

Second Time..A Charm. Back for a second time..Food and service were great. If you stick to the menu (specials are $$$) the prices are ok. The food is very, very good as is the service. They deserve a better review than I first gave them and here it is. We had a terrific meal.07 Sep, 2013Nice place – Pricey – Good, but far from great. Went here for the very first time this week. Sadly, for 2-1/2 hours on a weeknight, we were the only people in the entire restaurant. Their location is very, very difficult – It always was for Le Crepe, too. The other reason for the lack of customers might be their prices? I simply do not think this area can support a restaurant with these prices..I hope I am wrong about that. I wish everyone success. We started off with excellent salads…All about $9. The service was excellent. Sorry, I do not know what the price for their house wines by the glass were. One couple had tortellini and gnocci. We had snapper and a shrimp with parpadella. Three of the dishes were very good – Mine was top shelf in quality but devoid of any seasoning. The desserts were very good.If you want quality and value, there are better places for that combination locally. If you want to take your special someone out for a really nice dining experience, this is a good choice.

The Best In The Area !!. Ormond Beach is so very lucky to have such a fine dining Italian restaurant. The food is incredible. And the atmosphere is appropriately upscale … or if you prefer a little more casual atmosphere you can dine in the lounge (same menus). And the prices for such fine dining are very reasonable if you order from the menu. The specials are wonderful, but definitely more pricey than the menu … so check on their prices if that is a concern to you.All in all, just a wonderful restaurant. Enjoy !!

Won’t be going back. My fiance doesn’t particularly enjoy Italian food so I was quite surprised when we ended up at Toscana last night. He was being thoughtful because he knows I really enjoy fine Italian cuisine. Unfortunately the whole experience was rather a let-down especially considering how expensive the meal was. Let me list the flaws for ease of reading…* We did not have a reservation, but the restaurant was quite empty and yet we were seated in the bar. *We waited about 5 minutes before anyone came to our table. Then our waiter ended up being the bartender. He had been busy waiting on people at the bar hence our long wait.*My fiance ordered the carpaccio for an appetizer only to receive bresaola instead. The difference being carpaccio is raw beef while bresaola is dried.*He then ordered the rack of lamb, which they were out of, although when asked, our waiter assured us they indeed had it.*My dish of shrimp over tagliatelle with brandy cream sauce sounded wonderful, but was quite disappointing. Not much flavor and the pasta was supposed to be home made, but I don’t believe it was. They also left the tails on the shrimp, which I hate. What to do with those tails once you have struggled to get the meat out of them???*The lava cake we ordered for dessert had only a drop of lava in it. We sent it back, another was brought out and it didn’t have any lava in it! We sent it back again. The chef came out and explained that this dessert was simply a chocolate cake and was not supposed to have a liquid center despite the fact the waiter said it should. They took it off our bill.*We ordered, what we thought would be a pretty decent bottle of wine considering it was $65.00. Did a little research when I got home to find the same bottle of wine sells for $12.99 at Total Wine. Feeling a little foolish and a lot ripped-off.I could go on about the many other little things that were sub-standard, but I won’t. My fiance and I are big-time foodies so our expectations are pretty high and Toscana was very disappointing considering our bill was over $200.00. Let’s end on a good note, however…The fresh mozzarella and grilled vegetable salad was delightful.

Nice atmosphere, friendly, but so-so food. Overcooked shellfish. Not a wow.
