Their name is wrong,. I was in Kissimmee and was looking for a bar with some light food. This restaurant was across the street from my motel. The bartender, I question even being a bartender and could not understand my voice? I ordered a beer then was offered 2 beers close to what I ordered. I saw they had a pound of boiled shrimp and was given the option again head on or off. I ordered head on, shortly I was served a dish with 16 large shrimp and they were to hot to touch. I told them to take them back and cool them. In cooking shrimp, if the shrimp cooks for more than 3 minutes it is overdone and tough. So you cook a shrimp and after 2 12 minutes you start cooling them. I tried to explain this to the bartender and he gets the cook and he can not understand my voice also. Next another bartender jumps in and starts showing me he knows how to cook crayfish, with pictures. So I get back the cooled down shrimp and they are lukewarm and yes overcooked, tough to peel and the only thing helping the snack is I get a good tasting cocktail sauce. I drink my beer and informed that was the last one so I order the other choice I was previously offered and was told that was the last one. The price of the shrimp was a good value, in fact all the food on the menu but overcooked and tough. I was comped for the meal and brews slightly.I do not recommend this restaurant by my experience and to take the name Little New Orleans could be an insult to someone that knows cajun food and southern hospitality.
Avoid the experiance. Food was lacking. Oysters were small and the shrimp weren’t boiled with any seasoning. Service was unimpressive. I would go to Long John Silver’s over this place.

Excellent food and drinks and friendly service. My date and I were there for lunch today. I think it just opened at noon right before we arrived. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. My date ordered the Seafood Gumbo. I ordered the Crawfish Etouffee, the small Fried Oyster plate that comes with fries and cole slaw, and a Screwdriver with a splash of Peach Schnapps. We were both surprised at how good the food was! My date is from Texas and grew up eating Seafood Gumbo. She said it tasted exactly they way it’s supposed to. She enjoyed it so much she ordered the Crawfish platter to go.My Fried Oysters were fresh and perfectly cooked. Just the right amount of batter! The cole slaw was fresh and tasty and the fries were hot and delicious. Almost forgot -my drink was another perfect mixture.I think Little New Orleans Kitchen & Oyster Bar just became my favorite restaurant in Orlando 🙂
2 stars out of 5, at best. Food was mediocre. Service was decent. Atmosphere was dive sports bar buffet (yeah). Can’t decide if they want to be a Cajun / Creole Bistro or dive sports bar. Overall result was they’re good @ neither. Wouldn’t even think about going back. Honestly, would’ve rather gone to a chain restaurant.
We walked in there was no one at the reception desk someone did great us from behind the bar and seated the four of us, our greeter became our waitress. I asked for a beer list they do not have one. The waitress was very nice but also very unknowledgeable. I went to the bar to find out about their beer the bartender gave me a sample of each of the three craft beers however his attitude was pour. The waitress was new but I did not need to know that she was pregnant. The floor was filthy and their was no ownership or manager evidently available. She had just left. I expressed my feelings towards the waitress, her decision wa to bring our food and leave our table alone. The food: We mostly ordered po boys, mine was catfish fried, too much breading some flavor mayo on the bread no flavor– fries zero flavor— had to be bagged— slaw– zero flavor. This restaurant needs a lot of help to succeed and they are under new ownership– sorry
Excellent. Recently under new ownership, this place is excellent! Great NOLA style cooking, fresh oysters (and cooked if you want!), full bar and all the sports specials on multiple TV’s
