Must have changed owners.. I have ordered from China One for years with little to no problems. Over the last 6 months , I have noticed that their food has become bland and that the person taking the orders is rude and generally seems bothered by the call. Go in to pick up your order and watch as you wait and you never see a smile or hear a thank you. Oh, and if your order cost a certain amount of money they would always give you a free item. Now, you might not get it if you don’t ask. We ordered from them last night and everything was tasteless. We are going elsewhere from now on.

Simply the BEST!. I have eaten at China One for years and I have never once been disappointed. Excellent prices. Lots of food on your plate that is always hot and fresh. Don’t bother going any where else. The best Chinese food in the Oviedo area.

Food was cold. Portions was very skimpy. Flavor very bland. I would rather drive out of my way for good Chinese food than to go here because its close to my home.

Horrible Costumer service!!. I called to place an order for delivery and the lady started yelling at me saying they don’t deliver! I got food from them a couple days ago and they delivered. I dont know if they stopped it but she kept yelling at me then hung up on me! Who does that?!?! I am infuriated! Do not go there! No respect at all!

DOES NOT DELIVER. I attempted to place an order for delivery and I was informed that they ONLY do take-out. I was going by the information given on the page.

Best Oviedo Chinese Take-out .. I am a huge fan of classic chinese food. Unfortunately, I don’t think anything I have had to date(1990-2013) in Orlando ranks anywhere near what I have eaten on trips to NYC. My favorite style being Cantonese, I always look for certain dishes. I get the impression that all of the local chinese take-outs plan their menus together. Things you find elsewhere don’t exist here. Scallion pancakes for example. Even though the employees are asian, some food seems like something they only make for take-outs and I seriously doubt they eat this way at home. The basic wonton soup in a place like NYC is made with real chicken stock. It’s a light colored super-flavorful chicken broth with huge meaty wontons. Here in orlando I think they use boullion cubes or something to create some brownish liquid and the wontons are like a a thumb size portion . I mean, on a cold night when you don’t feel so great I guess it’s ok. China One – The food is always hot and fresh. Flavor is plentiful regardles of spicy or mild. I think this is a family owned business and the owners work there everyday. it’s always busy but the wait is never too long. Call ahead is recommended. Hint: Use the tip jar here. For spicy food I recommend the Hunan dishes. Hunan shrimp being my favorite. The white rice is great, the fried rice is meh. The only complaint I have, and it’s not really terrible…is that the dish ingredients are somewhat inconsistent. if you order something that normally has red and green peppers on a good day, it may only have green peppers on a bad day. Sometimes the eggplant with garlic sauce is loaded with gravy, then on other days its dry. They don’t seem to mind it if you spell it out when you order – like I would like extra veg or more gravy. In any case it’s always yummy. I think this is as good as it gets in the Oviedo area when it comes to take-out.

Best quality Chinese take out I’ve ever had, and very reasonably priced. Sweet and sour chicken: big chunks of quality white meat. Won ton soup: five HUGE, delicious won tons. The egg roll was exceptionally fresh and crisp, easy to eat filling (no huge pieces of shredded carrot). Pork fried rice: fresh ingredients, nice pieces of pork, good flavor and not too salty. I was impressed and will be back! The service is short and to the point, not very cordial. But, it’s not a deal breaker because the food is fresh, and it’s take out after all.
