Peppinos was just renovated by the show Restaurant Impossible. Its looks great and they have some new menu items added to their traditional menu. Still has yhe lunch buffet and the food is as good as ever. Check them out and enjoy the new surroundings.
Peppino’s always delivers when it comes to taste & service. Considering that Peppino’s is way across town & definitely out of our average 5 mile dinner option radius, it continues to be worth it. Yes, the restaurant looks tired & the furnishings look well used, they still have the best red sauce in the area.
Out Of This World!!! Authentic Family Owned Ristorante. I have been coming to Peppino’s since 1999, and have never been disappointed. I was so excited to share my experience with the love of my life and it was better than I could have imagined. Of course there is the owner there to welcome you, and I call Mama because she treats me like family every time I come in. Mama even brought me my glass of Prosecco which was delicious by the way. Her son is always there and makes sure everything runs right, patrons are happy, and the dish comes out the way you expected. Better than that the service is outstanding, hence our waitress Amy who made sure anything we wanted was there at our command. Everyone worked together so well and it was nice to see. Let’s talk about the food, OMG! my Honey had the Chicken Alla Maria which was excellent!!! The chicken was moist, the stuffing delicious, and the home made sauce was out of this world! I had the Zuppa but decided I wanted the white clam sauce sauce instead but didn’t know how difficult it would be …
– It’s been a long time since I’ve been so disappointed. The food was very bland. Parmesan chicken was so overcooked it was rubbery. Didn’t notice until after eating but the ceiling is disgusting. Sagging tiles, dust and mildew. I’m glad I didn’t pay for it (office event). We didn’t get what was ordered either. Apparently owner serves what she wants.
Mom & Pop Italian at its best… Authentic Italian food . My favorite is the Veal chops merlot; 2 huge veal chops topped with peppers & mushrooms and covered in a Merlot wine sauce. Real deal pizza & great veal dishes… Never had anything but a great meal here.
I wasn’t expecting much coming from winter park. But was I surprised. The staff was great. The food was really good. I was surprised they weren’t crowded. I had the veal saffarino great! All of us were so happy with our meals. From fish to chicken. I don’t usually have desert because usually not worth the calories, but had the tiramisu. So gooood
Yum! Best authentic Italian meal. They have a great menu – 2 people can eat for $20.00. One appetizer, 2 salads, 2 entrees, one dessert! Has the eggplant parmesan, sausage & penne, both were fabulous. Double chocolate fudge cake for dessert is a must for any chocoholic. Coming back very soon
