Just okay…. I went with a group of 11. Picnic tables are not a good idea. When you have 3 people on each side of the picnic table there’s just no graceful way to get up.I had the steak sandwich and it was okay. I settled for it because I thought the menu was boring. A few in our group got the wings and there was no compliments on the wings. In fact 2 guys split one order and didn’t want to finish them. We went on a Monday night around 5:30. There were hardly any tables taken. We ordered our first beer which came in about 10 minutes. We didn’t see our server again for 45 minutes. At that point we put in our food order so this round of beers took 15 minutes. With all the other places to go to, there’s just no reason to go back there.
Went on a Saturday night for dinner. Awesome atmosphere. Had a peperoni and meatball pizza which was very good! Boyfriend had the pulled pork sandwich which also was great! Great beer selection. Overall thumbs up!
Poor quality- Needs Improvement. I thought it would have been a much better experience than it was. Gene Simmons the experience was a 4 out of a 10. So what was the hype all about?. Average food and average to poor service that’s no way to operate a restaurant.Waitresses need to be more about service. I had to wait 3 times to get a drink filled up and this is -(BASIC)-Waitressing.Ways for Gene to improve:1. Also not enough TV’s so everyone can watch where their seated.2. Maybe a LIVE band on the weekends or at least speakers in the outside area to make it feel like live music so wecan sit in the outside area and listen.3. More service from waitresses4. Make sure Drinks dont go under 1/2 to 3/4 empty5. Picnic Tables are OK, just keep them clean!6. ASK where the customer WANTS to be seated, don’t pic our seating.7 Don’t forget the customer Pays the bills there.
Picnic tables never a good idea. The food is alright. Beer selection is adequate. Picnic tables are a terrible idea for a restaurant.We’re not actually at a picnic, I want to dine and converse intimately with the people I’m out to dinner with.This is not a cruise or some kind of resort where people want to be social. Put booths in and small tables and myreview goes up
We ate there last night and had a good time. We had a couple of hiccups though. We put our name in and gave my phone number so they could text us when the table was ready. We were told 15 min wait. We headed to the bar and got a couple beers and went outside to wait on the patio. We realized that 40 mins had gone by so went inside to see what was going on. Well.. They had tons of open tables and they sat us right away. The hostess felt really bad. The seating kinda bugged me out though. They had only a handful of booths. Everything else was picnic benches and high tops. Not a big deal right? Well they are long and they expect you to share with other diners! I don’t care for that at all. The atmosphere was so fun. Lots of great music and music videos to go with it. I love it. I loved th beer selection too. I ordered a turkey burger with fries. It was pretty good! My boyfriend had the beef tips sandwich. It was pretty tasty! It’s just bar food but it’s good and it’s fun! I would go again!
Unseasoned but good service. A $10 pizza with cheese and pepperoni, which was supposed to be one of their specialties according to the waiter, was disappointing. It tasted like a frozen box pizza with very little seasoning and tasteless sauce. My guest had a blue cheese and bacon burger that was ok. The fries were in need of seasoning also. Just blah food but service was good.
Mediocre. Place looks great and service was pretty good. The food was less than expected. TMZ showed Gene Simmons picking one of his burgers off the floor in LAX and eating it because he claimed it was so good. I don’t think I would have picked it up again if it fell on the plate. Burgers were terrible, barely above McDonald’s. Beer is expensive – $5.50 for a 16oz draft. There was a lot of stuff advertised on the menu online that they didn’t have in the restaurant. That needs to be addressed.
