We live and work downtown, so this is way outside our bubble. Have wanted to try it since they were featured in Orlando magazine, so we finally got our chance. The food is really good, and so is the service. The inside is beautifully decorated. I wouldn’t say it’s better than any of the other sushi places we frequent, but would definitely go back. The ceviche roll was our favorite…and the no yolk app was good, needs a little more acid to elevate the flavor. Now the dessert…. PMS was amazing, my favorite part of the night. I would also suggest trying the ice cream tasting all are great but the salted caramel takes the win! L
Good Sushi… Not So Good Staff. Our first visit to Sushi Pop was great and we loved the food….couldn’t wait to go back! But on our second visit, we decided to make a reservation so we wouldn’t have to wait. Well forget that! We were told they were on time with reservations but we ended up waiting an hour and 15 min past our reserved time. And they still wouldn’t give us a table, we had to sit at the sushi bar! (even though there were empty tables) Its a good place to eat but when you’re irritated by the hostess staff after working all week long…it puts a damper on the place. And we drive 35 min to get there. Probably won’t be back any time soon!
Anniversary dinner. We love Sushi Pop. They are always changing up the menu, which makes it new and different every time we go. We love the happy hour and go for every occasion. Highly recommend.
We will go again. Presentation was great. Service was very friendly. We were waiting for our food for a while so they brought out complimentary miso soup. The PMS dessert was great but overpriced.
Awesome. This place is terrific! Food is outstanding and creative, service is fantastic. Prices are a little steep but it’s very worth it.
Hands down, the best sushi in all of Central FLA. I lived in Los Angeles and NYC and frequented the best of the best, and Sushi Pop is right up there with KOI in L.A.The only people giving this place bad reviews, are the ones who think Outback is a real steakhouse.Try for yourself & you’ll see. Cheap, no. Awesome, yes.p.s. Order a piece of blue fin otoro just to taste it if you haven’t before. It is perfection.
