Coming here for years.. Ive eaten here probably 50 times. Its family owned. The people are so freaking nice. Their tempura is excellent. Always fresh. You can pick any roll practically and hit a winner. Some places you try something new and you get some nasty rolls. Also being that its one of the few places that are deep into oviedo its the place to go. I normally judge other sushi places to this one. There mexican roll is actually good (other places is an abomination). Its always quiet (wish it was more popular). Just a nice small sushi joint where they actually will remember you. Never had a problem with service and never thought this is taking too long. Odd….people must really want some fast food service sushi. I watch them make it they just make it right then and there and they make it right.
We’ve given this place several chances over the past couple years and have yet to have a good experience. The sushi is OK, nothing special, but the service is ridiculously slow even when uncrowded. Plus, at our last visit, they were out of wasabi and did not tell us until the food arrived (slowly). I’ve had sushi all over central Florida and this is reliably the bottom of my list. Much better is quite close by.
Bad Service!. We went there once, hoping to get a good sushi. There was about 10 people /a family before us and 1 small tables of 1 person… they were there a while before us. We waited almost an hour to get our food. We were so not impressed with the waitresses, one was texting the whole time and another one was standing there not doing much. We had wished we went to Tijuana flat next door instead… At the end of one houre, we ended up getting the food to take out and not dine in. Will NEVER come back!
Horrible!. Menu is limited, service is slow, food is subpar. We went this evening and they were out of scallops and seaweed. Miso soup was lukewarm. Sushi roll with no rice in it??? No joke, we got it here. Save yourself and go the extra few miles to Nagoya in Winter Springs. We will never go back here!!!
Nice place. Decent service. We walked in 30 minutes before they closed for lunch and felt a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, very good sushi and a nice assortment of different rolls. My new favorite sushi in the Oviedo area!
Small rolls/ paper thin fish. The rolls are small and the fish is paper thin. The service is very bad as well.You can do much better for sushi elsewhere.
Awesome Rolls. Someone definitely knew what they were doing when they opened this restaurant. Great and innovative rolls. Limited seating but great service!
