Amazing food at great prices, my favorite is the lobster roll and fish tacos are great.
Service was delightful, the Shrimp po’ boy was delicious & generously filled with crispy perfectly fried shrimp. The baguette was masterfully toasted on the outside yet it’s pillowy center hugged tightly those delicious shrimps, shredded lettuce and a cilantro aioli that in my opinion shouldn’t have been invited to the party. The creole sauce was definitely a better suited guest.I was a bit disappointed w/ the Mahi dip as it fell short from all the hype. It had a rubbery texture I wasn’t expecting and being a dip I would’ve liked a tad more creaminess to it, plus the almost stale crackers & its room temp didn’t help its case either. I wanted it either chilled or hot. Lastly, the tilapia tacos n’ fries were good but not ‘eyes rolling in the back of your head’ good, u know what I mean. The best tasting of the 3 tacos was the blackened. The fried and grilled tacos had a strong fish taste for tilapia, & though the fries came highly recommended they were clearly frozen n’ processed which was a huge let down. As for the beans N’ rice being a Puerto Rican who has cooked her share of beans at 1st bite the initial notes that hit me was the lingering taste of ‘can’
It’s ok. Bear in mind that it’s an informal place. you order at a counter, seat yourself, and then waitress brings the food. food was good, but i don’t like plastic forks:(
Fish tacos were awesome and the owner is very friendly.
Great food – friendly service. TJ’s is my favorite place in Oviedo. The food is great (and inexpensive) and the service is incredibly friendly. It is a great place to relax with friends and family.
Absolutely awesome!. It’s so hard th find a healthy meal when your diabetic. The folks at LA Fitness recommended this restaurant. Wow! The food was delicious, fresh, and diabetic friendly. I had their award winning blackened fish tacos. They were delicious!!! I highly recommend their food! Two thumbs up!
Cool Joint. I was in the Orlando area on business and stumbled upon TJ’s Seafood Shack. Who knew that they served two of my favorite dishes? I had the Gumbo to start-it was true Cajun style spicy with lots of chicken and sausage. For my entree I had Crab Cakes. I loved that they were sauteed and not fried. They weren’t greasy and were extremely tasty. As good as I’ve had anywhere-even Baltimore. You can’t beat the prices especially for a tourist trap like Orlando. Every item was less than $10.
