I agree with other bad reviews. First impression was that of the server, she was chewing gum with an open mouth, the gum was bright green. I made a comment to her about chewing gum. Then she asked if we would care for drinks. She came back and I ordered liguini with white clam sauce. She stated that it came with both salad and soup. Then my companion ordered angel hair with oil and garlic, she also requested the soup and salad. It was at this point the server informed me that my request did not include both and I would have to choose either soup or salad. I said since my order is a few dollars more that my dining companion and that the server already offered why not just give it to me. Her response was for a dollar fifty I could have both, I said just give me salad. She then asked if we wanted our knots plain or garlic and we asked for garlic. Shortly after the soup and salads arrived. We were not given any forks, knives or spoons so we got server’s attention, she was busy putting other patrons leftovers into the cartons to go. Finally I just reached over to another table and got the utensils. Then another person came over and asked if we wanted garlic knots or plain (DUH), we just answered garlic. Then our entrees arrived, absolutly totally lacking in flavor, it was obvious that the pasta water was not seasoned. Both of us just lept shaking the salt and cheese in an attempt, which was in vain, to give flavor to these dishes. Finally the server came over and asked how everthing was to which my companion just shook her head in a negative motion, she also mentioned that the dishes were flavorless and suggested that the water used in boiling the pasta by salted. I must mention that my companion is my aunt and a chef who I was visiting. Finally our server asked if we would care for dessert and made a point to let me know that dessert was not included in my dinner. My aunt asked for a dish of ice cream and requested that the server give it to me. The server on return with the ice cream placed it in front of my aunt.Usually I give a restaurant two visits then I review however between the poor service, the disgusting chewing gum and the totally flavorless dishes I will not be going back.
Just ordered an overpriced below average meatball parm.i mean how can u mess up a meatball parm.the quality was worse than subway.the bread was the lowest grade available and what few meatballs they graced me with tasted like they came straight out of a chef boyardee can.$8 for a sandwich that tasted like a handout one would get at a homeless shelter is a major dissapointment.never again!!
These other reviews are B/S. First off, I have eaten at 4 Brothers for over 10 years now. I have never gotten anything close to a bad meal. The food is amazing, the portions are huge (try ordering a small calazone and see how tremendous it is), the price is right , and it’s packed during the season. The snowbirds know where to go. It isn’t the most fancy place but it sure is worth it at an average price of $14 per dinner. And I see almost everyone bringing home dinner for the next day. These other reviews from — Miami — maybe they were confused coming out of Miami and eat the local food there and keep there B/S comments to themselves.
Skip This Hole In The Wall. I don’t know how any restaurant can kill a bowl of spaghetti with garlic and oil, but this restaurant achieved that distinction. The pizza also left a lasting taste…not worth coming back to. They call themselves a restaurant…shame on them.
Diferent dishes. You should try thedr calzones and strombolles
No good. 2 weeks ago we got a antipasto salad and the salami was bad. today we got an italian sub and a minestrone soup. we had to take the salami off the sub it was brown and had a bad smell. the soup looked and tasted just like canned soup. will never eat there again.
Went there only once!. And once was enough! I walked in and out because the place was dirty!!!
