Lunching ladies. Love this place, great atmosphere and smells like a camp fire. Inside and out dining service. Our waitress was very attentive and always had a smile. We tried a couple of light items, wedge salad with nice chunks of bacon and lettuce wraps. Both were yummy and we look forward to going back again to try other selections.

Wow! Great dinner!. Can’t wait to go back!! The chicken wings were the best. The pizza was delicious! The farm burger was huge & very very good. We loved the server- she was a doll!! We would go back regularly if we lived closer!

Hated it. I have never in my life had an extremely awful experience. The server, John, was extremely rude, and did not accommodate anyone in my group. The manager had to assist in order to show the server some type of decent hospitality. I’m not for sure if bread is served, but no bread was offered. I was extremely surprised. My food was not cooked as requested. The server seemed nonchalant. I usually tip pretty good, but I didn’t tip him at all because of his attitude. I will never go back to this place again.

Not returning. The food here is not so great. Their sister restaurant, Henry’s, is much better. My food was not cooked properly, service was slow, For the price you are paying, this place isn’t worth it. There are much better restaurants out there than this place.

Only A Listers allowed. Shameful…. If you are not an A lister, don’t even expect a pleasant experience. Food and ambiance is good; staff have an attitude… Perhaps if I slipped them a $20 it may have been different. Management made no effort to apologize. Tried to make a reservation early in the day and was told no reservations were accepted for 2 people. Clearly on their computer monitor they do and mumbled a flimsy excuse. So sad ….

TOO NOISY. This restaurant was one of the noisiest ones we have ever been to. We were four people and had to lean in close to hear each other talk. People at the bar were jammed next to us and sometimes bumped into us. Food and Service was just ok but pricey. The four of us agreed we would never go back.

Ah-mazing Food…Top Service. My parents were in town a couple of weeks ago… they love trying new restaurants so we decided to take them to Burt & Max’s since we’ve been hearing rave reviews about the place. It was a Sunday evening, so seating was immediate (though I hear the weekends it’s so busy you can’t even get a reservation until after 8pm!). We decided to sit at the bar where we were promptly greeted by our bartender with a warm smile, welcoming us to the restaurant. We perused the menu trying to decide what we wanted to drink….they have a great list of specialty cocktails!! My stepmom tried the Delray Derby and the Scarlett Letter, both which she thoroughly enjoyed for something different. My dad is big into beers, they have a decent selection of bottled beers which extends the full palette of any beer lover. My boyfriend and I are wine-o’s so I went with the Kim Crawford and he went with the Mark West. We were both impressed with the vast selection of wines by the glass and the generous pour we received. As we sipped our cocktails, we were trying to decide what we wanted to eat…. so many delicious sounding things to try from. I made the suggestion that we order a bunch of things and all share them so that we’d be able to try a bigger variety of the food they offer. For the first round the bartender suggested we try these things called onion soup dumplings…wow let me tell you, these things are like the most delicious bite sized pieces of goodness I’ve tasted! And we had some edamame. From there we decided on the chopped salad…. very fresh, crisp and light. My dad wanted to try the braised short ribs so we went with a large order of those and introduced my parents to chicken and waffles…. I don’t know how they do it, but that fried chicken was some of the juiciest I’ve tasted. The short ribs were nothing short of tender with tons of flavor to boot!! At that point you would think we were full lol. That sweet bartender showed us the dessert list and we ended up ordering the the chocolate bomb AND the jumbo carrot cupcake. Wowzers, that carrot cupcake had my mouth watering and I’m not even a big fan of carrot cake. It was super moist, loaded with nice chunks of nuts and fruit and the icing …muwah!! I’m not huge on chocolate so the chocolate bomb was a bit chocolatey for me, but my stepmom LOVES her chocolate and she ate every last bite of that thing. Overall I have to say we’re super excited that this place opened. Even though we live in east Boca, we’ll definitely make the drive back for the food and service. If you have not tried… you must! From the hostess’s to the food runners to the bartenders…. everyone is very nice and willing to please. Definitely worth the trip, I hope they are around for a long time!!
