Gelato Petrini – Sickeningly Sweet.. What’s with these makers of Gelato? Toooooo Sweet. UGH.
Very accomodating. This place is great. I don’t keep kosher but I do have a dairy allergy- and for someone who has a sweet tooth who can’t eat dairy- they have a great array of parve gelato that are delicious!!! They can even do a gelato cake!!! My husband surprised me with it last year. I wish they had more locations!
Awesome! The best gelato anywhere!. I’m originally from NYC and have frequented many gelato shops in NYC since 1980. All have come and gone. This gelato shoppe in central Boca Raton is the best I have had anywhere. Like it’s suppose to be done straight from Italy. This place will stay in business. It’s expensive but all handmade. And when Passover comes around you have to wait in line and order weeks in advance as they make many favors kosher fir Passover. It’s just amazing.
Pretty place, delightful staff. There are several nearby gelato/ice cream shops, but this one provides the nicest overall experience. Their flavors are nuanced and delightful.
Voted Best Gelato in South Florida 2009. Real artisan gelato made by Chef Mauro Petrini. Taste the pistachio, gianduia, amaretto and other delicious flavors. Ask about catering and special events.lunch and dinner served too. This restaurant and gelato shop is kosher and under Orb Supervision29 Jul, 2008Best Gelato in Boca Raton. Finally, an authentic italian gelateria. This place takes me back to Italy! Mauro Petrini is a real gelato chef and his gelato is for sure the best in Boca. Try the pistachio, nocciola (hazelnut) or gianduia (chocolate hazelnut, my personal favorite). The Gelato Shoppe is open late, until 11 pm everynight, except Friday night. They are kosher, so they are closed Saturday until 9.30 pm. But, its the only place to go to late night Saturday night. The coffees are awesome and they serve real Italian espressos and cappuccinos. My new favorite hangout in boring boca!
