First our waitress forgot our order, had to ask us again and then didn’t put the order in for almost ten minutes. When our food was cooked it sat in the window for 5 minutes before I grabbed it myself as the waitress was nowhere to be found. The food was horrendous. Hashbrowns and toast both stale, microwaved bacon, and scrambled eggs that resembled rubber. We told our waitress that we did not want the food (I have never done this in my life before today) and she began to argue with us. She originally took the plate from my wife and then after arguing with us, threw the food back down onto our table and walked away. Then, we and the rest of the people in the restaurant had to listen to the waitress loudly bad mouthing us to a coworker. I presume her name was Lucy as there are many other bad reviews about her poor service. Worst breakfast and customer service experience of my life. 48 minutes of my life that I will never get back. If Kocomos wants to last, they would be wise to remove this waitress from the establishment.

Great place. Im actually sitting here now and was so pleased I had to write a review. Sitting here with a friend we decided to split an appetizer. The trio was our choice and it was fantastic the mac and cheese bites were the perfect mix of cheese and jalapeo the conch fritters are out of this world and the corn fritters are perfectly sweet the coconut chicken could use more coconut but overall they are good the waitress is new and very sweet also. great place to stop at for a bite
I have ate there several times and I have haven’t complained about the food, but the service is kind of lapsidasicle. One night they are on the next night not. I don’t mid there food or there bar tenders.
Loved Kokomo’s. Wow! We had a fabulous dinner at Kocomo’s last night. New chef, excellent menu, friendly and happy servers, and our large group, twenty- five of us, are looking forward to our next visit. In the past, we were not pleased with the mediocre food, but if you have not been there recently, give it another chance.
Never go back again. I took My adult daughter here to have a drink and maybe get a bite to eat, we never were their long enough to eat. I have been in the western community for over 40 years was raised here and Im so disgusted with the way things went when we got to this place. when we walked into the door a patron who clearly had to much too drink started saying crude and disgusting remarks to my daughter. we ignored him and went inside. after about 15 minutes we went outside so she could take a phone call cause she had no service inside, again we were verbally assulted by the drunk patron and we ignored him. also he was verbally assulting another couple and they left, when they left he kicked the glass that they were drinking from and glass went flying everywhere. when we went to walk back inside he was yelling crude disgusting remarks about what he would like to do to my daughter, that crossed the line and i told him to watch his mouth and stop it, he followed us back into the bar area and continued to verbally insult my daughter and I. The staff at this place did nothing, absolutely nothing, until a gentleman stepped up and told him to back off and then he went nuts trying to fight the guy, thats when a male bartender ran over and took the drunk patron outside, but still didnt make him leave. at this point we paid our tab for this was just too much. when we left, again we were verbally assulted. What the hell is wrong with people. I will never go there again and you can bet I will be telling everyone that i know out here in loxahatchee and acreage, and you can bet they will be telling everyone that they know. I have gone to Kokomos many times. and had a great experience but since it was sold nothing but drunk disrespectful wannabe rednecks, (yes wannabe) cause real (Men) country folk would never disrespect and say the disgusting things this punk dirt bag was saying to a mother and daughter who are out together. I guess the new owner and staff dont care who they run off. Absolutely disgusting….
Outta Towner,. I’m actually from California. I visited my Grandparents, and we stopped here to eat our way to Lion Country Safari.My grandparents liked what they had, they split a sausage pasta of some sort. My mother liked her Cuban Sandwich, which is impressive because she’s pretty picky. I ordered the coconut shrimp. I’m a food snob, and I’m also from Northern California, (SF Bay Area) and we’re known to have great seafood. It was good considering I had eaten a few places in Florida and honestly nothing was really that tasty. I’d give the place an honest 8/10.The real kicker is that I left my favorite ring on the table, I’ve done that before in restaurants in my Neighborhood and it gets swiped immediately after I leave. Well, not here. I called and the manager said he would have it mailed to my grandmothers. I was skeptical because that would not happen where I am from, but a few days later he HAD mailed my ring to me. KUDOS to you! Really, thank you!So what if the food isn’t perfect? It’s really comforting to know the place is run by good people.
