Horrible Service — food. Don’t bother letting them know you are unhappy with your food; they won’t care. I ordered an eggplant Parm dinner to go and when I got home and opened it up, there was no sauce on the pasta. I called and they said they would make a new one, but when I went to pick it up, they were rude and did not even speak to me. To top it off, the eggplant was greasy, tough and tasteless. Don’t bother with this place if you want quality Italian food and be treated nicely.
This was my first visit to Portobella. The Chicken Gorganzola was so rich and good. I will be back for this dish. The service was very good. Our server was friendly and very helpful. I will definitly be back!
Amazing italian food. Me and my family started going to this family owned restaurant about a year ago. We have now turned into regulars. The staff is super friendly and always willing to answer any questions that we have had. They have huge portion sizes and specials change every weekend, theres always something new and creative. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone i know. You wont leave hungry or disappointed.

Too Bad. This place is right around the corner from me. I would go often, We had a few bad experiences, like a ceiling tile fell out of the ceiling when it was raining, and some slow service. But I like to give every one more than one chance, Especially since the food is good. The last time we went, they were under staffed, Didn’t tell us, waited 20 minutes for a waitress. Placed an order got a Salad and a glass of wine. 40 minutes later no one had ever returned. Couldn’t even flag some one down. Finailly got the elderly women who always seems to be there, she said our food would be right out. I asked for bread, never came! 15 minutes later asked for the check! Was charged full price for the salad that comes with the meal and the wine, I understand the wine although it was house but it would have made me come back if they had said bad night please forgive us, on the house! Nothing. No opoligy, bad business people. Sorry can’t ever go back after being an almost regular for 10 years.
Good food. The food here is great. The pizza is soooo good. Real New York Style. The waitress are great. It gets busy and the wait can get long. Victor the manager can get a little rude at lunch times, but altogether worth it.
