ONE OF THE BEST GREEK RESTAURANTS IN BOCAMy wife and I sat at the bar which was very busy. We started by having the 3 dip and pita appetizer which was very generous and tasty. We didnt realize that dinners come with a red pepper dip and pita and a choice of soup or salad. My wife had the salad which was Greek style and very large. I had the lemon chicken soup which was very hearty and large again. My wife had shrimp santorini which was shrimp with tomatoes,spinach, onion, feta and garlic over orzo. She said it was very good. I had the Mediterranean mix. It consisted of shrimp, octopus, calamari and mussels in a white wine lemon butter sauce on a bed of linguini. It was also very good. Service at the bar was a little slow but very friendly.
ABSOUTELY AMAZING!! 10 STARS!. Let me just start by saying I had the honor of being able to attend there soft opening last night. First off the venue is just perfect, I walked in the door and I felt like I was in a high class spot in Soutbeach Miami..beautiful huge open windows over looking the lake with white decor throughout the restaurant. You have the option of indoor or outdoor seating with a bar inside as well as outside on the deck where you can enjoy the perfect water view. We sat at our table and started off with hummus and pita, the hummus was enriched with flavors of feta roasted red peppers and olives, the pita was warm and so soft..we also got to enjoy the lamb empanadas which were so different from any empanada I have ever had before, the lamb is cooked to perfection and there was this amazing cream sauce they put on top they were to die for! The lollipop wings came out next, they were crispy and filled with juicy flavor! (Mind you the presentation on all these dishes was beautiful) The next thing I got to try that I never had before was this awesome cheese..the waiter came over held the plate in the air and lit the cheese on fire! The whole restaurant was watching it was quite the show for just an app! The cheese was crispy on the outside and just gooey amazing on the inside. I honestly could of filled up on apps that’s how awesome they were but I ordered the chicken kabobs with grilled veggies and rice pilaf. The veggies and chicken had that awesome grill flavor with the perfect seasonings on it. I enjoyed every bit of my experience from the atmosphere to the food and of course the friendly welcoming staff! I cant wait to go back and I hope everyone takes the time to make there way to Rafina for an unforgettable meal and time..best of luck to the owners and staff!!!!
