Chaos. Get ready for noise, rude servers who pretend they cannot understand English, and food served so fast it’s like they can’t wait to get rid of you. If you can tolerate all that, the food is fine. Oh, and don’t expect them to honor reservations.
Hidden Gem. This is definitely Boca’s hidden gem. Prices are fair and the fish is always fresh. We especially like their bluefin tuna which is very hard to find in South Florida and Mike’s specials. Their kitchen food is not authentic, but still very good. Service is a bit slow at times and there’s no hostess to seat you, but all in all great place. Be sure to make reservations because they can be very packed on weekends.
Best sushi hands down in boca raton and surrounding areas. Owner takes pride in buying, creating, and serving the freshest fish.
Food good. Service very bad. Food was good but the service was terrible. Restaurant was quite empty and had to wait it be served. Almost walked out. Servers were rude and did not pay attention to us until it was time to pay the check – then our best friends. I’ll not go back. There are too many good sushi restaurants to not be treated well…..
Creative Stroll Through Sushi Heaven. Absolutely loved loved loved the sushi here !Chef Mike has a flair with the fish that will definitely be appreciated by true sushi lovers.He made us a colourful plate of Scottish salmon sashimi served 3 ways to start. One had black truffle oil drizzled on top, one had some mango bits and truffle salt another had crab floret decorations and crunchy phyllo bits amongst other things….the whole plate was simply divine !! We were then treated to a plate of white tuna sashimi in warmed white truffle oil/ ponzu sauce with thinly sliced jalapenos on top…this was magnificent !! The 3 rolls we had all were fabulous and filled and topped with crazy amounts of fresh fish. Loved the option of brown rice too as it adds a toasted layer of flavour to the mix. The Jumbo soft shell Maryland crab was also cooked to perfection. Don’t have one bad thing to say about our time here last night. Service was prompt and very friendly. Will be back again sitting at the sushi bar taste testing all Chef Mike’s secret recipes very soon !!
Best around. I have been frequenting area Sushi restaurants for over 20 years. There is no doubt that you will consistently be served great food and the wait staff is always friendly and pleasant. Head and shoulders above the rest.
Fantastic Food. My husband and I eat at this restaurant often. Yes, it is usually crowded and tables are very close to each other….and yes, service is a not lickety-split for sure. But the food is fantastic and in our opinion, some of the freshest sushi in the Boca area. The owners and the wait staff are very friendly and accommodating. They are always running around and probably could use additional staff, but if you go in with the attitude that your just gonna relax and take your time, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed with the food!
