Nice staff, cute area with NYC themed decor. Huge portions, waitress confirmed most plan on taking half home. Bit pricy but not bad. Watch out for OJ, that hand squeezed stuff was expensive. Great bagels. Very popular with locals.
Upon my first visit here, it was pretty crowded. We wanted to enjoy a nice brunch but after waiting about 35mins for a table we just decided to place an order to go. It was a little unorganized behind the counter and as a patron you have to order across someone else or reach over others to grab your food and/or pay. There was indoor and outdoor seating, but there also seemed to be some upset patrons that didn’t like the wait. I had a double espresso and an everything bagel with green onion cream cheese. The food was good but for what I ordered togo it took a little longer than expected about 10minutes. They did seem like they had a lot of pretty neat items that are interesting to try. On the fence about returning though as the food was good but the service was just a little chaotic and sloppy.

A True Treasure. What a wonderful restaurant. Great food and service. A geniune delicatessen restaurant with a terrific selection. Great bagels, super sandwiches, knishes, herring, salads, deserts. Whether its deli to go or a quaint sit down meal, Strathmore is where you should go. Its Wonderful!
Saturday Brunch time. Well my grilfriend and I tried Strathmore Bagels for my first time on a saturday Dec 10th at around 1:30 PM. Had to wait for 30 minutes, but that should be a good sign. I had the tongue omlete and coffee, she had the roast beef on a bagel with diet coke (in a can). Jennifer was served corned beef, she asked for a correction and got grief from the server. She got it replaced and had it slammed back onto the table. Not a thank you, sorry or anything else. She tried the macaroni salad and it was sour (i tried it too, was rotten) We had to smoke signal the server and finally got her back. She took it away, not a sorry, do you want anything else or i will take it off the bill… nothing. We had to flag others to bring us napkins, a dropped fork. My girlfirend then had to use the restroom, they stopped her and told her she had to wait while they cleaned the room. Not a sorry or pleasant explaination. Athough the food was good, the server needed training, and management needs to be more friendly and kind to the customers. At this point we may not be going back for some time.
Prepare for a wait on the weekends…very good bagels, service is okay at best.
