Come Again?. This was a fairly good Italian Restaurant in years past, but looking at the reviews-nothing newer than 2010-I have to wonder if any of these people have been back. I came back after staying away for awhile. I noticed the prices have gone up, but not necessarily the quality. Yes, I had a big bowl of pasta and if I’m honest, last time I ordered it I felt it was skimpy. This time it looked like the cook poured the whole box of pasta in a bowl surrounded by vegetables. They also raised the price of this dish considerably. My dining partner said the eggplant parm was cold. Mind you this was lunch-but I always say if you can’t do lunch well than I don’t necessarily want to try you for dinner. This place used to be much better-it hasn’t been for years.
Amazing food & service!. I was in boca for business and wanted to try a mom n pop type restaraunt when fell upon Villa Rosano. When I got there I recieved a very warm greeting and I could tell this place had a large following. There was a wait so i grabbed a seat at the bar and decided to eat there (plus I got to skip the wait!). I ordered a ‘nuts about salad’ and a creamy pasta dish w/ portobello mushrooms and corckscrew pasta. The balsamic vinnaigrette on the salad was the most delicious balsamic vinnaigrette. ever. The pasta was cooked just right and the cream in the sauce was incredibly fresh. Where most restaraunts try to hide the quality of their dishes by mixing as many ingredients as they possibly can into one dish, Villa Rosano does the opposite. It was the perfect meal paired with an amazing glass of wine and an incredibly attentive bar tender. I will definitely be coming back the next time I visit.
Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Food was very good. Huge pasta portions. Nice touch with shredded parm on the table. A couple veggitarian entres which was nice! Highly recommended.
Two thumbs up for west boca!. Villa Rosano is nothing short of very good! They have this pear ravioli with a gorganzola sauce that is def my fav! Lots of hot bread with oil and big portions with good quality food. I have never had a bad experience here!! BIG FAN! Oh,, and the wait staff has always been great to us.
Your doing us the favor?. Went to this restaurant with friends who used to dine there frequently because it was near their house. I say used to because after the other night they are not going back. Talk about Rude! They sat us in this back room which felt very tight so we asked to move as didn’t like our table. You would think we just murdered someone the way we were treated by the manager who then walked by our new table glaring and giving us dirty looks. The service was spotty and the food was mediocre. On the way out we said something to the man we believe was the owner who raised his voice and basically told us if we didn’t like it we could go elsewhere. We dine out frequenty and have never been treated like that. so ok. we will go elsewhere.
Good Italian Food. A nice mom and pop place. The food is very good, it’s not Matteo’s, but if you live near by I would recommend it. Their Lobster ravioli’s are excellent. (That is an off the menu order). Everyone is friendly, I would dine again.
Good food, reasonably priced, very large portions.
