We visited The Cooper Restaurant for Happy Hour many times. Most of the time I have been there, we are served by the very upbeat bartender nick named Boston at their outdoor bar. The indoor restaurant decor has an upbeat modern dining room. We order the following Bar Bites while enjoying a South African Sauvignon Blanc; Ham & Cheese A La Plancha, the Mini Cooper Slider, Mussels in a Beer Braise, Fried Eggplant balls, and Stuffed Peppadew peppers which are all excellent. I like lively outdoor bars like Cooper for surrounding laughter and conversations with random people that you will not remember having in the morning.

SERVICE.. UGGGGGG!! PBG LOCATION. This was my second time to the Cooper, PBG. FL. The first time the service was awful, the food cold and overcooked, sent back twice, manager. apologized but we ended up being there for two hours and just had burgers.As a reasonable person, I thought I’d give it a second chance. Waited almost a hour PAST our reservation time, waited 15 minutes to even get water and had to ask. Buss person as our waitress seemed overwhelmed and new. It took another 15 minutes to bring our wine ( which was a very SMALL) craft – as someone else stated in another review, my friends food came out ice cold and mine just barely warm at least 30 minutes later. I have to say, three visits is not on MY menu right now. If you can’t handle reservations appropriately, then don’t accept them. Hire MORE wait staff, and with more experience, and put more staff and runners on for the cooking and food. The food was tasty, but a bit overpriced. I can accept the price if the food and service is good. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER COOPER!!!! The manager kept assuring us it would be just another few minutes, and it was almost a hour. Shame on you!!!!
