I didn’t like this at all. Not even the garlic bread was worth eating.
Food way too salty. This used to be my favorite go to Italian eatery. I have recommended this place to many number of people. I ate there last night and ordered the Baked Penne Siciliana Parmigiana with breaded eggplant. It was nearly uneatable it was so salty. When I left 3/4 my meal the waitress didn’t even ask if there was something wrong with my dish. My date said his Bolognese was on the salty side too but managed to eat. Either they got a new chef or he/she had a really off night.
Walked in and smelt horrible!! Pasta was way overcooked and could hear the cooks cursing and going crazy in the kitchen!! Wen I complained to the owner (nancy) about the food she made her staff taste it and told me there was nothing wrong with the plate and she will not give me my money back I HATE GIOVANNIS those cheap GINNYS !!! U have no clue how to do proper business!!!
12/31/2012. Just left after waiting over an hour for food. Service was terrible, waiter threw down check and grumbled Happy New Year. We were never checked on for water, refills of wine glasses are showed the courtesy one expects when dining. After being a patron for many years and Ballenisle residence I will tell all my friends not to return. Very disappointed in the whole experience. It ruined my husband’s birthday celebration with his family and friends.
Best italian food ive ever had, also the employees are great and that kid chris is the best busser in the world i think he should be a waiter GIOVANNIS FO LIFE!
I have dinned here quite a few times in these past years never had a complaint. I believe the ‘clueless hostess’ is due to the fact that they do not want to seat a table of 4 at a table were only 2 could sit comfortably, other than that great food, great prices, and great service!
Excellent food , great service!!! Best Italian food I’ve ever had!!! The host is delightful and not clueless this person must be crazy!!! I’ve never had a bad meal here and no complaints. I recommend this restaurant
