Decent. I have been there for both lunch and dinner. I think it is great for lunch but wish they served sashimi. I think dinner is a bit pricey – esp Fri & Sat night when it goes up even more. That said, the food is fresh and tasty and the service was decent as well.
What ?!?!. Not sure what all the excitement is about, but we were not impressed. More so when taking into account the Friday & Saturday price increase. To be clear, it is not bad, it is just not that good. The only saving grace is the sushi. One unexciting hot food line; a bowl of lettuce and 3-4 dressings for salad; hibachi lacked ingredients (but the cook was generous with scallops); dessert was simply there. The only way to make this place worthwhile is to only go for lunch. As for service, I had to ask three times to get a Diet Coke instead of the Coke she brought. Also, as one other poster mentioned, the place is clean, looks nice and they have done well with the space.
Great food, great price, great service!. I read the online reviews and thought I’d check it out for myself – I’m glad I did! So many sushi selections, each one better than the rest, plus the regular fare of soup and Chinese food dishes; the hibachi food was very fresh and the chef was very personable, and the ice cream was an unexpected treat! Service was very fast, and the dinner buffet was around $16. I will definitely be back a few times each month!
Most excellent value, quality and friendly staff. Selection on sushi buffet alone are better than elsewhere. Ten bucks for lunch plus drinks can not be had elsewhere with the selections and freshness. To bad I just found this gem as I am going back home tomorrow. I am stuffed and happy.

HIROKI JAPANESE BUFFET REVIEW. I’ve been to Hiroki 15 times in the 6 weeks since they opened with excellent quality ingredients which they have maintained up till now. This is the first buffet I’ve encountered which serves some sashimi for lunch as opposed to just dinner. The fish has been mostly grade 2 or very close to it. The sushi is not wildly creative; fairly standard fare, but well done. The cooked food is done well and the Hibachi Grill is also remarkably good with better quality ingredients than expected. The chocolate from the chocolate fountain actually tastes like chocolate and the soups are respectably good. The service staff are friendly and attentive.The ambiance is equivalent to that of a higher quality conventional restaurant. This is in part due to the fact that Carmine’s Ocean Grill was housed there previously and the Hiroki owners have made good use of what was left behind. They are busy, but not so busy that there is a significant wait time to be seated when there is one at all. This restaurant is an excellent value, an exceptionally enjoyable culinary experience that deserves to be patronized and supported.
