It isn’t fancy inside but the food is very good. Lola’s is about the food and not the surroundings or atmosphere. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you at one of the tables. It is self serve drinks. I had the bam bam shrimp basket and the shrimp were cooked perfectly – not too long. You can tell the shrimps were fresh and not frozen. I realized that the atmosphere does add to your meal so I couldn’t give Lola a top rating.
Do not eat here. The po boy at Popeyes is better and that’s sad. Mine was burnt and the batter on the shrimp fell off and wasn’t fried all the way. My fiancs burger was burnt and he orderd it medium. The fries were ok. Cashier was walking around with noodles hanging out her mouth eating and had a bad attitude when we asked for mustard for the burger. For 28.00 I expected a lot better
Perfection. Perfect coleslaw, nice sweet onion rings, excellent fried whole belly clams!
Rubber Scallops and Poor Customer Service. We were just in town for 1 night and decided to go to Lola’s after reading the reviews. I requested blacken scallops. The 4 scallops were burnt black and rubbery. I shared if this had been my first time trying scallops that I would never have eaten another scallop. I asked for dressing on the side…it was mixed it my salad. I requested a side of rice to balance out my dinner nutritiously. I was told that rice portions were prepared to go with full meals and that it would not be possible to get a $45 side of rice. There were 2 young girls cooking. There was one cashier, wait-person, and bus person. Many folks were waiting on but all the new customers seemed very confused by the process of ordering and then taking a number to the table. It was like a hamburger joint except with bad food and a $45 price tag. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
Harvey Sax. I thought this was a table service restaurant. You walk up to the counter, order and pay for your food, and they then deliver to your table. I ordered the lobster roll with fries & slaw. It took them three times to get it right. Food was just OK, not much flavor. I would not go again nor would I recommend this restaurant. Too many other much better restaurants in the Palm Beach Gardens area.
Yum. Just discovered this place, had take out twice. We just ate inside and the fried clams with belly’s, clam strips and onion rings were terrific. Fries were hot and coleslaw was great. Batter is light and nothing was greasy! Our new favorite place.
Love Lolas. Great Seafood! Great Prices! Delicious! I began going to Lola’s at the Stuart location when they first opened. I work in the Palm Beach area and I was so excited when the owners decided to open Lola’s in Palm Beach Gardens. There are 2 owners that rotate between stores and they are so nice, along with their wonderful staff! All very personal and friendly. My favorite is the fried belly clams with the lolas salad. Great Place!
