Simply Outstanding Thai food!!!. A business associate recommended this restaurant. Most Thai restaurants that I have dined in are not able to accommodate a vegetarian, since the curries are prepared with fish sauce. In addition, fried foods are prepared in one oil batch – tofu, meats and seafood. The owner was very attentive and prepared my spring rolls in a seperate oil batch. My tofu vegetable was also prepared seperately so that there was no meat or seafood contamination. The food was spectacular, absolutely delicious. The service was great. I highly recommend One Thai.
If you’re a seasoned thai food eater, this is NOT the place for you. The food lacks authentic thai flavor and the presentation is sub-par. I asked for hot sauce and got a small side of a Tabasco-like salty sauce. Not worth the money.
Solid Thai Restaurant in PB County. My wife and I went here because I am always in search of some authencity in food. And if not Authencity, how about close. We were 0 for 3. This place is is good. I will be returning. I thought the food was really fresh and a good nod toward authencitiy. We asked to tone down the sweetness and they complied. Its not that we heard they were sweet, but every other Thai restaurant in this county seems to be a candy shop. But the owner knew what we were talking about and started to talk about whyThai food is sweet. Sorry. I have been to Thailand. I also asked for spicy and got spicy. Thanks!!!
Great chinese food. There is nothing thai about this place, though. The curry was a gooey gravy version of something that was supposed to be panang. They don’t even use Thai names on the menu. Everything swims in salty, oily gravy. The restaurants name is very misleading.
Best Thai EVER!. This place is my go-to restaurant. I always get the won ton soup (yum!) , disco chicken , and yummy coconut ice cream. The staff was warm and inviting. I can’t wait to come back.
Mary and Rich. I just went to One Thai last week! It was TOTALLY remodeled! The food was always great, but now the interior matches the food. It has a warm and inviting feeling to it. It’s painted with the prettiest red I’ve ever seen! We thought it was under new ownership, but we were happy to see Cathy was still there. As usual, the dinner was great. My husband ordered the pad thai and I had pepper steak. It was all perfect! I love it there! It should be voted the top restaurant for Thai food.15 Aug, 2011Fan of One Thai. We’ve been eating at One Thai for 22 years! The food is ALWAYS perfect! Our favorite is the chicken with peanut sauce. We usually have the Thai Tea, which is an exceptional flavored tea with half and half on top. The curry puffs are so tasty and they come with a sweet sauce mixed with cucumbers and sweet peppers. Honestly, once you go there, you’ll never go to another Thai restaurant. We recently branched out and tried the disco chicken. We were hesitant because of the silly name. It is thin sliced chicken with a light coating that kids…and parents really love, It comes to the table on fire with a blue flame! Now we are torn between it and the peanut chicken! Anyone who doesn’t love it there, must have no taste buds. I read Jody Wagner’s review and agree 100% about it!
Try this Thai!. I have tried Thai restaurants all over Palm Beach County. Finally, food I can enjoy. No mystery meat here. I love the peanut chicken and spring rolls. They also can make most meals with tofu which I love. The best part is when the owner bakes cookies and shares them with her customers. I eat here regularly. I just have not found another Thai restaurant in the area with edible food!
