Tuna Sashimi. Yummy!!!
Cherrystone clams raw…very clean, fresh excellent taste. Had a lobster as well that was supposed to be 1.25 lbs…seemed more like 1.75 and had great fresh flavor, roe, not dry…very tasty. Very satisfied overall.
I decided on spotos for my birthday dinner, not my first time here but my best. We arrived around 7 and requested outdoor seating. Very courteous and knowledgeable staff informed us of the specials and quickly brought us our oyster appetizers which were fresh and flavourful. My waiter recommended the sea bass when asked between that and the swordfish and I am so glad he did. Not that the sword fish was bad (my father ordered it). However the sea bass was the best fish experience I have had to date. The sea bass was cooked perfectly. A nice lite crisp golden fry that kept the fish moist throughout. Under the generous portion of fish was a fantastic blend of fresh gnocchi, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, and portabella mixed with a nice cream sauce. The best meal I could have had that night and it will not be quickly leaving my memory.
Sat at the bar last night & to my delight ate the sweetest, freshest most tender oysters I have ever eaten. Comming from New England & DC that is big! Can’t wait to go back to try their Oysters Rockefeller (which are virtually impossible to get properly made). I think they’ll get that right too. Fabulous oysters and great service
Great place!. This seafood restaurant can really put on the flavor!. all the fish dishes were excellent and the drinks, atmosphere, made for a very enjoyable evening.
Went here a few nights ago with my girlfriend. Food was great and so was the service. I got little neck clams and she got the mahi mahi. We also had ahi tuna as a appetizer. The tuna was fresh and sushi grade. Clams were amazing and fresh as well. Dee also say outside and the scenery is nice.
The best *live* Maine lobster in FL. Spoto’s is probably the best restaurant for lobster in all of Florida, literally.I just told the waiter, Steve Krall that I could eat lobster their for the next three weeks every night and never get tired of it.A very handy tip one of the waitresses gave me for the lobster is to have them bring out the butter (which has a pretty decent sized candle under it) out at the beginning first thing so the butter is bubbling hot when the lobster gets there.
