We visited Waterway Caf on a wet cloudy day and sat along the water by the Tiki Bar. It was a quiet afternoon since the weather was challenging. I guess I now know why it is also called the Weatherway Caf. We have been dining at Waterway for years, and the only change we noticed was the lunch portions for some dishes were smaller, but the food quality was still good. Only suggestion is that they should update the inside dining room along with their rest rooms.
5 stars except for the hostess!. I made a reservation for my sons 21st birthday after being happy with having his graduation dinner there. The girl on the phone was very specific asking do you want to sit outside, on the covered patio, or inside? I made it clear I was dressing for and going out after so I wanted inside. She told me she had the perfect table for us. When I arrived and they walked me outside on a deck I was shocked I asked if they lost the reservation,the hostess made a face like she was disgusted that I asked and said we got another party and gave them your table??? I don’t know about anyone else but if I’m on a deck in the sun I wouldn’t have worn a white dress and had makeup ready to go to the club on! Just saying. The waiter, Dan, was great and so was the food.
