I’ve been here many times. Good place to hang out. Service is great, food is OK some things are better than others and perhaps a little pricey for what it is. The ambience and location are great. Don’t go on a weekend if you are planning to have a conversation as the band will make that a little difficult. That sounds like a complaint but not really, just a point.The fish is fresh, the sides are OK. No hushpuppies which is a little off-putting for this kind of restaurant.
Great Wednesday Night at Thirsty Marlin. Last night I enjoyed an excellent lobster wrap. I will order it again next week. Terrible service!. Awful service! Terrible attitudes! So even if the food was exceptional it would have ruined that… But it was exceptional just ok. As many places as there is to choose from, treating customers like they aren’t wanted there and ignoring them is a big business mistake?
Great Value. As someone who appreciates large portions of good food reasonably priced this is the place. The staff is friendly and special orders are never a problem. Service at lunch time is better than at night when it gets crowded and loud

Nothing Special. I have dined here over the last couple of years and with the exception of cold beer, the food and service have steadily nosedived. Their best bartenders who used to make everyone feel welcome and enjoyed having fun are long gone. Great deals on drinks for happy hour. Much of the food is fried. Their wings and jerk chicken are decent, but avoid the french dip and greasy hamburgers. The all you can eat crab legs seem like a good deal, but they smell so horrible, I cannot stomach trying them. Servers are hit and miss. They enjoy socializing among themselves and pay little attention to your needs. I have tried most everything on the menu, but the food quality is average. Spend your money on food elsewhere.
