This a review solely based upon their bakery good selections, which I had previously enjoyed take away from.It is under new ownership and they no longer have their old reasonably priced varied selection of pastries, but instead sell $6 slices of pie and cake cups. 🙁
Breakfast usually pretty good but lunch is abysmal. Inadequate wait staff so it takes forever to be served, longer to get your food. I had the (sliver of) meatloaf and had to send it back. I have never had tough meatloaf but this was hard as nails. The sides were cold as well. It took 40 minutes for us to be waited on and get our food. Completely inedible and I had to send it back. I ordered a hamburger to replace it and waited another 20 minutes. Definitely not the place for a working lunch, or a place you would want to meet clients for business. I would not recommend this restaurant. I took my family there for this lunch and I was ashamed.
Inconsistent food and service. I have actually visited this location a few times for breakfast. There is a bar area and they also sell fresh baked goods at the cashier/hostess area. We are usually seated pretty quickly, service and food seem to be inconsistent. Sometimes you have prompt service with really good food and others the servers are missing in action and/or the food is cold or just not good. I don’t like how some over the servers stack plates when serving instead of using a tray, I particularly don’t like the underside of another plate touching my food. The bloody mary’s are hit or miss one time we had a really good one, then the next (refill) someone else made it and we couldn’t even finish ours. On our last visit the pancakes were cold, which was disappointing and the service was slow so probably won’t end up going back any longer as it feels like we are just rolling the dice on each visit. There is plenty of parking at this location.
Breakfast. We’ve been here before but not for a while. For some reason the soda and the ice tea are not great. The bisquits were really good and gravy was ok but the combination was better than most places. I had the French Toast croissant, eggs and bacon all fine just not spectacular. Service is terrific and the restaurant is clean and we’ll decorated.
Awesome food & service!. We had a wonderful dinner with great food & service! We had the Chicken Pot Pie (special of the day) & Chicken Rockefeller and both were delicious! I wish they offered the Chicken Pot Pie everyday, since it’s so good. The food is by far better than Cracker Barrel…we’ll be back to try some other dishes soon!
