My Favorite !. Delightful, amazing, mind blowing are all adjectives to describe our wedding reception experience at Byblos caf. My Goodness where do I start?! Byblos Caf is my husbands and I favorite restaurant we dine there frequently and they never disappoint. So it was an easy choice when we decided to have our intimate gathering for our family after our small ceremony .We approached the restaurant manager with our ideas and asked for his professional opinion on how we should proceed. He has vast knowledge of what his customers want .We gave him creative control and we couldnt be happier with the end result. The food was amazing as always, the staff was delightful; entrainment was very entertaining and the ambience was inviting and romantic. The personal attention that was given to us by the staff and the manager was mind-blowing. Every member of our family where without words after their experience at Byblos Caf… I promise my husband that we had to go back in a few days to thank the staff and OF COURSE TO EAT THE FOOD. I hope this is helpful for anyone who is thinking of choosing Byblos Caf when considering an event or is looking for great food with wonderful service.

Good simple food – overpriced. Food was good but simple but over priced, basically instead of charging a cover charge for entertainment, its tacked on to the cost of the dishes and drinks.All the ingredients were fresh, had good flavor and cooked perfectly, however, for the prices they charge, this is very simple food, it doesnt take great skill to cube chicken or beef, season it and grill it. The plate presentation is basic, a puddle of hummus on one side, a roughly chopped up salad on another side and the cubed kabobs on the other. Considering my mixed kabob dish was $27, I would have expected a little finesse on the presentation, Im not asking gourmet, but please think of a little more elegant way to present the food, rather than just dumping it on the plate and making it look like cafeteria food.
Food was good but chicken kabob dinner was 17.95 for a grilled chicken breast, small salad and hummus… Bit overpriced.
Amazing choice for events!!. Thank you so much for hosting a wonderful baby shower for me yesterday. You were amazing at accommodating all my requests and went above and beyond. You made it so simple for my guests and me to enjoy the celebrations. The food was so flavorful and delicious thanks to the awesome Lebanese chef, Jovi. I would highly recommend Byblos for any event and will definitely be back for future party/dining needs. Thank you Robbie and Jovi! -Wanda
Since when does a host spill oil all over a customer and not comp their drinks? My sister had oil spilled all over linen pants and we thought they comped her wine. After paying our bill we were told we owed for another bottle of wine. Running late for the theater we had to wait for them to run our credit card again. They will be receiving a bill for our dry cleaning and if it doesn’t come out they will replace her pants. Thanks for the crappy hospitality.
Good, but not for how much they charge. I ordered the gyro dinner (beef & lamb), and my husband ordered the chicken shwarma plate. We shared the falafel appetizer before our dinner came out. First, the pita bread was a little too thin and too chewy (as if it had been warmed up in a microwave before being served). The dipping sauce with zatar in it was tasty. The falafel was also excellent. Not too greasy, with just the right texture. My husband spent some time in the Middle East and he felt these were pretty true to taste. I liked the meat on my gyro dinner plate, but wished that the chunks of meat were bigger (some of the meat pieces were so tiny, and so it was really overly crispy, leaving not much flavor left). The hummus on my plate was good, but it was a little too smooth (we like our hummus not chunky, but not so whipped that it feels like a paste in our mouths). I also took a little bit of my husband’s tzatziki sauce and put it in my gyros and that was pretty tasty. The Byblos salad was ok, but not anything special. My husband’s hummus was too dry and he said he could not taste any lemon in his hummus–a little bit bland in his estimation. The chicken was dry, and not very well seasoned for being shwarma. The yogurt salad (tzatziki) was good, but also a little bit too watery than we like.We did find it odd, though, that when we arrived there was close to nobody in the restaurant. They stuck us in this back area with another family. The section echoed quite a bit, so it was loud. As time went on, they ended up seating at least 5 other couples back there with us (and only a few of us had the same waiter). That part was a bit annoying, as my husband and I couldn’t really have a private conversation (nor could anyone else in that section of the restaurant). The service was subpar. Ambiance is good, if you’re into that kind of thing.We liked this place, but because we felt like the prices did not properly reflect the quality of the food, we will likely not return to eat here at Byblos Caf.
