I’ve tried a lot of different Chinese restaurants around S. Tampa (gourmet and take-out), and this one is BY FAR the best! Love the Krab wontons and Chicken w/ Garlic Sauce.
Great food, great prices. I just moved to Tampa not too long ago and I’ve been looking for a good Chinese place and finally I found it. This place does it right when it comes to Chinese food, reminds me of the Chinese food in New York. The prices are affordable and the taste is on point. I’ve been coming here every week for a month now and I’ve been pleased with my food every time. The food is fresh and they don’t skimp you on the portions, they’re good sized. The General Tso’s chicken and the Sweet & Sour chicken is my favorite.
Clean Up Your Act. Used to come here all the time when Kim owned it. Can’t complain about the food but some major changes need to take place. Recently went in for dinner about 7 p.m. There was one table full of papers and a computer where the owner’s son was supposed to be sitting. All the other tables except one small one was covered with other former diner’s dirty plates, glasses and silverware. It took over 20 minutes for the owner to come and ask what we wanted. She kept answering the phone, going back to where the cooks were and having loud conversations (sounded like she was yelling at someone), and her son kept running around and talking to people coming in. For his age he should know better than to be interrupting guests. This has been a consistent pattern and is downright annoying. So the food is great but the atmosphere is very, very poor.
Good basic Cantonese. This is my local go-to place for basic Cantonese. Fast, polite service, clean restaurant, and fresh ingredients. My favorite dishes are shrimp Egg Foo Young, and the House Lo Mein.
It was freshly made and probably the best Chinese we’ve had since we moved to Tampa 2 yrs ago. Not a fan of the fried rice but loved everything else.
