A bit of tea and lots of charm. After a 6 mile walk from Harbor Island to the end of Bayshore I was definitely thirsty. Walked by Kojak’s which I knew was closed then…and there it was… this quaint, unassuming, charming little place. From the outside, one can think that it is not even open for business if no one has parked at the front yet. Cook’s Kitchen is precisely what the name implies. You walk in and you feel like speaking with a British accent right away. A few little tables with white and blue gingham tableclothes and lots of flags. Pictures of the royal family and a kitchen! Right there! and the red headed chef, a lady, yes… cooks discreetly for you. She used to be Chef to Fergie. Imagine that… and noe she is here with her family and you are so lucky… the quiches are to die for… especially the onion and bacon one! and the salads are so colorful and fresh. The fruit is juicy. The flag coffee mugs piping hot warm you. You leave the place belly full, mind at ease, and believing you had just travelled.

I’ve been going there since the day they opened. It’s hard to find good prepared in a wholesome way anymore and Cooks does it and makes you feel like your making a healthy choice. Heathy with whole ingredients… Not a bunch of fatty meals or meals loaded with sugar (although their desserts are really good too ). They are tremendously nice people too. No wonder their place had people in it at all times. Also… Their pre-made meals Togo are awesome for families with kids that don’t have a ton of time to make dinner.
Simply the Best for a home cooked; casual meal! freshest ingredients and wonderful staff. love the satellite bbc music from the UK as a touch! Also very military friendly; always see people from base enjoying lunch!
So good…. I eat here often and always wonder how they make a turkey sandwich so amazing. And if only i could resist the giant meringue with delicious cream and berries…its my guilty secret since i cant keep from eating the entire thing all by myself! Even the dressing on the greens that accompany the sandwich is enough to keep me coming back!
Great. My friend and I stopped in the other day for a quick lunch. We were extremely pleased with the food….and the service……We will make a point of going back to eat!!!!!
Very good indeed!. I had the shrimp sandwich, and you couldn’t have had a fresher baguette. The sides were delicious. Quick service and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!
