Always a great place to bring out of town guests. We were lucky to sit in the main room. Ordered the Eggs Barbacoa – LOVED IT. Dressed table side with squeezed lemon and Worcestershire sauce. Lots of cheese and meat. The tapas of mussels was large enough for two.
One of my favorite spots in Tampa. Been eating at Datz for a couple years now. They some how always keep my favorites on the menu and add new goodies! Fried Mac n cheese, pretzel bites, Kentucky colonel bowl, smokey and the bird sandwich , it’s all so freaking good! The monkey bread is a new favorite but don’t get it as an appetizer it’s more of a dessert, very sweet. If you’re trying to eat on a Friday or Saturday night use their text system to put your name on the wait list that way your name is down even if your still on the way. Datz will not disappoint!
Food is tasty and service is fast. I always enjoy eating here if I’m up for the waiting and parking issues. Hard to say what my favorite thing is because everything I’ve tried is very tasty. I love the drinks also!
Fun atmosphere, decent food, good service and overpriced. We have been here about 5 times, always for breakfast or brunch. My husband orders the Eggs Barbacoa or the Sriracha Sammie and I typically got for a CYO omelet.
