Hey this is the best asian food for the price in South Tampa. Unless it’s payday and I can afford hibachi or sushi from Yoko’s for 15$ a roll, this is my alternate. They’re nice to my family when we come together and their delivery is superb. Hao Wah is excellent.
Pretty good, but. The takeout containers are TOO SMALL. We like to get takeout there from the buffet and they charge by the pound. We usually like to get large portions then save half for another meal but the containers they give you are too small and who wants to lumber (is lumber a verb? If not, it should be) around a buffet with two containers when they could just get bigger containers!!
Great Chinese Buffet. You wont find a better price for better quality Chinese in the south Tampa area. Ate it all the time growing up, and love to still see the same owners still running it in its newer location. Definitely beats mall food/Panda Express and there is SO MUCH to choose from, its no wonder i take 2 or 3 trips back 🙂
American Chinese. If you are looking for authentic Chinese, this is not the place to go. Huge menu selection but very Americanized. Not for me.
Don’t do it.. The food here is American style Chinese; offerings and taste is the same as a take-out place, and cost just a little more. For example, most of the food comes in pint or quart size. Meat dishes range from $6.95-12.50. Combo meals come with fried rice, egg roll or soup for about $6.95 and it says to order by number. The ambiance is great and the wait staffs are nice. There is also a Chinese buffet inside. The interesting thing about this restaurant is that they also have a category of Vietnamese items; such as Pho (5.95) and rice plates under $8.00.Check their website for full menu and pricing. The only reason why I went to this place was because a friend from work recommended it. For my money, I like to eat authentic Chinese food at either China Yuan or Ho Ho Choy. For Vietnamese, I go to a strictly Vietnamese restaurant, there is a plethora of them on Fowler.
