Slow to receive orders, orders not correct and meat dry/salty.. Decided we’d try the smoked corned beef brisket with cabbage/carrots & sourdough bread for St. Patty’s day. The smoked corn beef was so very salty, we could not eat all of what was in the order. The side of cabbage/carrots/potatoes had no salt/flavor at all. Took forever for them to put our order together and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and not a long wait in drive thru. Got home and no sourdough bread. This is the last time we visit Holy Hog in south Tampa. Just not worth the price or the wait.
Terrible Service and Food. Tried to order online, got to the restaurant and they just told me about the orders they did have and nothing about trying to service me. I left, then remembered I paid online with my credit card. Tried to call to get it cancelled, she just kept telling me they hadn’t put the order in yet. I guess I was the only online order, I have no idea, she was very unhelpful. I’ve eaten here twice in the past and the food was fatty and flavorless. I’ll never go back!

Had the brisket, sausage, and burnt ends. WOW! And three great sauces. The brisket was wet and had a great crust! Sausage had snap! Such good bar b q!
Delicious. Been there 4x’s now and it keeps getting better and better. The beef brisket and pulled pork for sandwiches are moist and tender. We had the greens, Brunswick stew, mac & cheese and the corn fritters as sides and each one was tasty. The sauces, mustard, hot and sweet are a perfect on sandwiches and sides…. I haven’t tried the ribs yet but I will next time I’m there.
Best BBQ I have tasted in in the Tampa area.
Pulled pork was excellent, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. I live in St. Pete, but will definitely be back
