This market charges at least 40% over what wal-mart, publix, Aldi and any other supermarkets charges for groceries. I saw a mouse running around inside the deli this evening and it was disgusting… would never go back there again…. One more thing… BEWARE of that short immigrant looking dude with big lips and a bald haircut. He likes adding extra items in bill… I guess he’s into larceny.
Being from Miami, I wouldn’t say Tampa has the best Cuban food but Interbay Meat Market (which isn’t really a meat market but a convenience store with a food counter) is pretty decent for food on the go. Their prices are great and they have a large selection of menu items. I always use them to cater our holiday party and we get a ton of delicious affordable food. They also make a pretty good caf con leche which is hard to come by in Tampa.
This place is hopping during lunch for good reason. They have a great lunch counter serving both hot meals and sandwiches. The Cuban sandwich is a great choice and it is cheap. The whole meal will only run you about $7. Great food with excellent service; hard to beat.
Awesome service. Top notch Cuban themed food. Atmosphere is awesome. Blackend sea bass, Cuban sandwiches to die for. This place is so good and so cheap that I will bring friends and family here. The employees are friendly and they have a very well organized system for service in place. Lots of Hispanic goods in the grocery section too.
Roast pork with yellow rice and black beans! Anytime I’m in the area and they’re open I have to stop!
