Yum. Been coming here for more than 25 years. Wonderful family run BBQ spot. My personal favorite is their chicken. I order it with hot hsauce on the side and it is delicious as-is. BUT the majority of folks adore their fall off the bone ribs. The sides are fresh. The chocolate cake worth the calories. Try it; I would be very surprised if you were disappointed.
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!. Excellent atmosphere, Great service and amazing BBQ. Three choices of sauce at your table waiting and all of them are very tasty. a sweet, a tangy vinegar influenced, and a spicy hot bbq sauce as well. I tried a 3 meat combo and all meats were juicy and flavorful, not over smoky, just right. I had the parsley red skin on potatoes that were slathered in rich butter, garlic, and of course parsley, just outta this world! The baked beans were flavorful but mild, not overpowered with too much brown sugar and molasses. My wife says this is the best pulled pork she had ever had! Very nice! Now the icing on the cake literally was Aunt Shelby’s Apple Cake, what a five star dessert served warm with a scoop of vanilla on the side. Just an all around excellent BBQ experience that we will enjoy again over and over. Nice Job !!!!
This place is awesome! Perfect casual dining environment with lots of personality, DELICIOUS BBQ and the friendliest attentive staff! Definitely a must try!
I love this place. The ribs, chicken, coleslaw & parsley potatoes are really good. The only thing I don’t like about this place is they serve seasoned french fries and I don’t like seasoned fries. I never leave this restaurant without getting a piece of their apple cake, it is the best!
An excellent evening. Nice place, a converted house divided into 3 rooms and much more seating outside. On this hot sticky evening we opted for the comfort of the inside.The food was excellent. Both the meaty ribs and the generous amount of pulled pork had very good flavor and didnt even need any sauce. I still wanted to try the various sauces and thought all tasted great in their own way.After reading the other reviews I had to try the Parsley Potatoes. They were very good, much credit to all the butter used. The beans were ok. Other reviews also turned me onto the Apple Cake a la Mode. Thanks other reviews. Much like carrot cake without the frosting, it had a great texture and taste, the ice cream only made it better.I liked our server, friendly and good at his job. The amount of time between ordering and receiving our food was lightning fast, just a few minutes. We also thought we got an excellent value for the reasonable price.
Not impressed. My wife said she wanted their food been awhile that we took in the food here.I found things has change this is a nice place but food no good i have tried all bbq places in the area and i have to say they all have problemsThis time i must say not to go there.The service is nice but food not so good.
Best Parsley Potato Award from Me. Just to be fair I am not a big rib fan and did not care for theirs either but hubby liked that because he got mine.But they have by far the best Parsley potatoes I have ever eaten anywhere around the world including at home (And I used to think mine were good)I would go there just to make a meal on those.But Hubby loves the ribs so it must be good.
