Navyvet. Happycat took the words right out of my mouth. The attitude of the counter girls is the worst I have ever seen. Someone needs to take them somewhere very private and explain to them that they give the patrons the first impression after walking in the door. The food is great but I for one am getting fed up with the poor attitude of the counter girls.
Very rude staff. If you are looking for good service, go elsewhere. Food isn’t worth the incompetency.
Rude service. I ordered the chicken soup and it came Luke warm and gunky. When I returned it they said so what do you want me to do, heat it up? They never said sorry or checked back to see if round 2 went ok.

What is going on here?. I have been going to this location for the last few years, and each time, I can see that there is definitely a change for the worse. Fortunately, the food is still very good but where they used to be about the customer first, current mgt has lost that. On my most recent exeprience on 11/13 I called to place a to go order and without a chance to say yes, or no, someone picked up the phone and said please hold….This isn’t the first time that this has happened to me. I was on hold for over five minutes while contemplating should I hang up because my time is more valuable than this. Soemone did pick up and I placed my order and I had to ask when it would be ready versus them telling me.When I got there, there were three people ahead of me. The first customer was slowly taking their time ordering while I saw a manager in a white shirt counting down the second register as it looks like she was closing it while NEVER once looking up at the line to see how she can help. When she was done she just walked away. I wound up waiting fifteen minutes just to pick up a to go order while I counted six people working in the back all chatting with no sense of urgency. It looked like the owner was even back there helping prep orders which if it were him, I would have expected him to get things going up front faster….There should absolutely be a seperate line for those people waiting to pick up an order and just want to pay….As I was leaving the outside tables were full of dishes from prior customers (I also saw this same dirty tables on the way in). Gives you an impression that the customer is not that important to them or they have a new owner or something because the service and food used to be above par. I always order the infamous Greek Salad and its now served in a much smaller bowl where the old bowl was overflowing with salad you could eat it for two days. They have now changed the bowl (yes, even the large) which means they have changed the portion as well. I noticed that some of the other market cafe’s have closed and unfortunately, if changes are not made quickly, they might be on their way out as well. Food is always good so I am hoping they can get things turned around.
So good! About $8-10 for lunch and they should charge more. So much flavor and very fresh. Service is one of the best in South Tampa!
Great place to eat, have been going there for years! They have a wide selection and are very accomodating. The Greek lemon soup is a must!! If you like Greek food it is a must eat!!
