Awesome place for Sunday brunch!. Casual Sunday Brunch. Had an amazing chicken sandwich and a veggie omlette. Great service, we could have easily spent the afternoon here.
Delightful little spot. Finally dropped in with the wife one weekend evening and she was as pleasantly surprised by this spot as I was the first time I hit it a few years back now.Sat at the bar and the place was crowded overall. Ordered a brew and glass of vino for the wife. Engaged a couple who had been frequenting for years and had a nice conversation with them throughout our time there. (One reason I like to sit at the bar). Ordered some grub too and the cucumber salad I got was interestingly plated and very good. Everything else we got was nicely done as well and upon leaving we made a mental note to come back soon and enjoy some more food and conversation with the locals who drop in frequently it seems.
It Is A Small English Pub, Close And Content!. Scallops and mashed potatoes topped with greens tossed in a citrus dressing, good stuff! – Curry Chicken with toasted almond rice and sauteed spinach, and a rib eye steak special served with chard and roasted new potatoes. Their calamari appetizer is outstanding. Their scallop entree was to kill for. Everything was spectacular.
Absolutely amazing!!!. Everything about Mad Dogs was exceptional. The ambiance was like being with old friends, the service was impeccable, and where do I begin with the quality and uniqueness of the food selection… We went to Mad Dogs on a busy night and we were treated like a valued customer, a perfect example of what customer service should look like. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!! My entire group of 10 absolutely LOVED it and cannot wait to go back.
Looks like a Swamp Shack, Smells Worse, Terrible Parking, & Wait Staff ignores you. We had heard good things about this place, got a coupon and decided to try it.The best thing we can say is we only wasted the price of the coupon to find out that this place is a total dive. It is possibly the worst looking place in Tampa. It looks like a rundown shack in the middle of a swamp. And it smells worse.The parking is a complete nightmare. If you go here you must hate your car. There are 3 spots in front and then a narrow alley alongside of the dive. If you venture into the alley you find a sign saying to park across the street. It might be nice if this sign was someplace where you could see it before trying to navigate the alley and tiny lot behind the dive.So we then attempted to get a seat. You are supposed to wait to be seated. We waited 5 minutes and watched two servers wonder around the porch aimlessly without bothering to acknowledge we were even there. Once was carrying around condiments and appeared lost.At that point we decided it was best to just leave. If it looks that bad, parking is that bad, smells that bad and service is that bad we didn’t see a reason to stay.I would rate it lower except it is possible if you actually get seated and dont mind the smell the food might be ok.
Good beer better food and I can walk there!. Wow!I found a great place to walk to for a beer, then I went inside and found a gourmet menu! Really good food, nice outside porch!Will be back again!
Top Notch. Excellent experience all the way around! Food, presentation, service, atmosphere all wonderful. Just like the other reviews say – this is a nice casual, friendly neighborhood spot that really surprises. Stop by for a pint of Guinness or for a wonderful meal. Or both for that matter!
