Best Meat in Town. Always something new and unique to be found at Robert’s in Tampa. Steak sandwich is divine, Grouper was always my favorite, and the salads are all well seasoned as opposed to the bland grocery store version. BBQ hot off the grill is second to none! His Catering is a specialty and a good option for any event! Don’t miss this hidden South Tampa treasure.
Great food!. We loved this place! We live right around the corner and were unsure if we should try it or not. So glad we did, I had the spicy snapper sandwich and my boyfriend had the pulled pork. Awesome! We were really impressed and kinda mad at ourselves for not trying this place sooner! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing.
Awesome Awesome Awesome. I moved to Tampa a couple months ago and have been looking for a good butcher shop that serves great food. Look no further! Robert’s Meats is the real deal! I have tried many different sandwiches from the filet mignon sandwich which is a smoked and sliced thin with provolone and a horseradish sauce on a toasted bun. The filet mignon sandwich will knock your socks off! My favorite are the burgers and they are fresh ground in house beef from their tenderloin trimmings. I am a huge fan of a good burger and Robert’s ranks in my top five of best burgers I’ve ever had. The ground beef is flavorful and well seasoned, they cook your burger to your desired temperature, the cheese is perfectly melted and the bun nice toasted. I’ve heard their grouper sandwich is delicious as well and that’s next on my list to try. The place gets pretty crowded during lunch hour, but they’re speedy with the orders.

Unprofessionally Unreliable. Good bbq but forget ordering meat from him if you really need it. I called on the Thursday to order my meat for weekend pickup like I was told. Go to Pick up on Saturday; was told to come back tomorrow…get a call Sunday morning–day I needed it all –was told by his one-day-a-week worker that my meat wasn’t ordered! He must be the Man from Oz behind the curtain…I have yet to talk with him…seems he is too busy running his bbq train to care about weekly meat customers. Never again.
Favorite place for a sandwich. Robert’s has a great Filet Mignon sandwich that will, for the price, blow you away. The place is amazing for a quick bite.
