Nice people. Recently had them cater a luncheon. Apple Strudel was memorable. Good Experience.

The best deli in Tampa. This is an authentic German deli. Schiller’s is one of the oldest delis in Tampa. The deli was opened by the Schiller family in 1952 and has been owned and operated by the Trunk family for the past twenty-three years. There are a few shelves of German foods and a German beer section in the back of Schiller’s, but the main attraction at the little place is clearly the deli and its long list of German sandwiches. No South Tampa pomp & circumstance here—-just excellent sandwiches, sides, & beer. We own our own restaurant (Pinky’s Diner) and our go-to place for sandwiches (other than our own restaurant!) is Schiller’s.

Yum!. I’ve been getting a ham and swiss on pumpernickel sandwiches at Schiller’s for at least 30 years; it was my favorite after school snack stop. They taste exactly the same everytime…delicious! Consistently great food and friendly service. Try the German potato salad. The beer selection is very good too!

Great sandwichs for lunch….watch out though things add up quickly since all items are priced individually.

Real Reubens. No thousand-island dressing here! The sauerkraut is homemade and everything is fresh and delicious. Even my ultra-picky tweenage cousins hound me to take them to Schiller’s for after-school sandwiches. Tiny market stocks German cookies, jams, crackers, cheeses and beer.
